Dear Ms Swetha, thanks for your invitation. It is equal to have right to live and enjoy the world as it is by both sexes. Though women have unique physical nature, they still work as hard as army-person and rough stone lifting in quarry. If the man understands that the colleagues working sitting with him in office is just like his mother, sister , then there is no problem. It is just the outlook of men in the society. Now the society getting civilised. But the violence of all types will reduce or eliminate by

- increase in women professional students

- increase in women employees and entrepreneurs

- increase in self confidence of women individually by learning karate and other self defences.

Now the percentage is increasing , a good sign of women empowerment. Dont worry, in 10 to 15 years, there is no sexual parity both in employment as well as social values.

Yes, because,women have suffered a lot,even her contribution is more to the society. She undertakes many responsibility with ease and even not get the respect in men dominated world  

it is the responsibility of every individual, men or women 2 wipe out the social evils may it be against men or women.

It is not only on women also quiet innocents suffering from violence as all the existing political attitude of the global mankind since a long time depended on for their existence. So basically changes need to occur.  

I feel counseling at initial stages of marriage iz necessary..strict punishments against these acts would also discourage such voilences...

Here all people supports to the 1st only because there is no criticality in answer for this.. if the question is some what difficult there would be some more posts we can expect.
