Music should be censored,
I don't like songs which uses slangs now and then.
It not good to use slangs right, then why should we accept songs containing this type of stuffs,
I just hate anyone who uses slangs...

music is spontaneous creativity, and censoring creativity is just like killing the sole of an artist. It depends on you what to hear n what not to.......you always have a choice for that so enjoy what you like and ignore what doesn't suits you

If we start to censire the music, then there is no liveliness in our life. The cry and the laugh is a kind of music which console the human mentality based on the situation. its a common language which bound the people in all over the universe. As a indian when we proud at the time of Mr . Rahman get oscar, then how can we critisise the music or censore the music.

Why should a beautiful thing like music be censored? Tastes differ. Some people like Indian classical music; some don't (that makes me realise that there don't seem to be any channel telecasting classical music) If one doesn't like a particular type of music one can always use the remote and change channels.

MUSIC cannot be vulgar!! Lyrics can be very irritating. Take this for example; Ek garam chai ki pyaali ho, koi usko pilanewali ho; Koi gori ho ya kaali ho.... Man thats so gross!! Cant fathom and digest such gross lyrics. But music in totality should not be CENSORED!

We are only responsible for such music …..
Bcz if we stop entertaining such baseless music n lyrics..
Then they will never think of making such music.
This short of lyrics and music are the mirror of our society.
so if we can change our self….
N every individual thinks the same then automatically things will move in right path…..
N then we will start finding things pure…. N meaningful for coming generation.

It seems to me that none of both statements were correct in its formulation. What do I mean by this? Music that is not good is normally not heard or the listeners do not (want to) pay for the ambitious musicians after their show.
However, if music seems not to be supported even for years, suddenly it can find the audience in a national contests like “A Country is searching / looking for it’s Superstar”.
Maybe you have seen a recent surprise in Germany and other nations like the U. K. as well. So the niche markets in the music fields become more and more popular and the video channels develop on that way as a censor for quality.
Therefore I came to an decision to vote for a different opinion: neither a Yes nor a No
To a future censorship seems to be necessary here in these rapid changing world and days of distraction in media.
And what I recently saw in television can be also seen in the internet: a culture channel reported about the boom in the folk music sector that seemed to be chanceless in the music markets of an electronic world we lived in. Thank you for your critical opinions.

We could have censorship for lyrics. Coz sometimes it contains vulgar or hidden meaning which makes others face to shrink whilst listening. For music no censor.....and its an art. We can say good and bad things with the help of lyrics and lyricist should promise themselves to deliver good and meaning full thoughts to others.
