With all due respect to Ajay, I would like to articulate that some politicos, bureaucrats, defence officers, clerks, and corporates are all out to plunder this nation. Every now and then scams are unfolding exposing pseudo faces of people who are suppose to guard national interest interests. Irony is nation has been witnessing how cheats, thugs, corrupts, sinners are plundering this nation while 35% people still live below poverty line, children still succumb due to malnourishment, women are still discriminated and ....Modi has been under scanner for long fo his alleged role during Gujarat's communal riot. There can't be smoke without fire. There is no ombudsman in the state. Both Congress and BJP both are responsible for the mess we see around us, but who cares......

NEW DELHI: Twelve people were killed and at least 62 others injured in a powerful blast outside Delhi high court gate number 5 on Wednesday morning.

The blast took place at around 10.15 am. Home secretary RK Singh told reporters the explosives were placed in a briefcase at the high court reception where hundreds of people come through every day to attend court cases.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack. Television images showed scores of lawyers in black coats running from one of the main gates of the building.

"This appears to be a
bomb explosion and it is at least a medium-intensity bomb... The site has been fully secured and Delhi has been put on high alert.

Sushma: Congress misusing CBI

Saturday, 27 August 2011 15:33

Leader of the opposition Ms. Sushma Swaraj today attacked the Government saying that it has been misusing the CBI for the selfish ends of the congress party.

Participating in the debate on the Lok Pal Bill, the BJP leader said that the government has transformed the CBI into the Congress Bachao Institution and is using the investigating agency to take vengeance on political rivals.

Sushma Swaraj said the inclusion of the late YSR name in the FIR registered against Jagan in the alleged illegal wealth case is a clear example of the CBI being used for the selfish gains of the congress party. “The CBI tried to save the real culprits in the cash for vote scam and implicate the BJP senior leader LK Advani in the Hawala scam,” she alleged.

Taking objection for allowing the congress MP Mr Rahul Gandhi to make a speech in the zero hour on Friday, the Opposition leader said that zero hour is meant for raising issues and not for making speeches.

Narendra Modi leads campaign to popularise girls’ education in Gujarat

The two phased campaign aims to enroll more girls in primary schools of the state.
GN Bureau | Gandhinagar | June 16 2011

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi is leading a campaign to popularise girls’ education and enrolment drive in primary schools of the state.

The campaign is being held in two phases. While the first phase is being held from June 16 to 18 and will cover 32,772 government-run primary schools and 44,000 balwadis in the villages, the second phase will be held from June 23 to 25, and will cover primary schools in the urban areas.

A 22,110-strong workforce named ‘Team Gujarat’ is executing this campaign. The team comprises the entire Council of Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, Chief Secretary, all IAS officers of the state, senior officers drawn from the districts, all people’s representatives, and various other govt officials. The team has been divided into smaller groups and each group will cover five villages every day.

The government has also taken various other initiatives to popularise girls’ education. It has distributed ‘Vidyalakshmi Bond’ of Rs.1,000 each to 11 lakh poor girl students. The Chief Minister’s Kanya Kelavni Nidhi has received Rs. 44-crore from individuals and institutions, and by raising money through auctioning of gifts received by the Chief Minister himself. The construction of 50,914 washrooms in schools has also played an important role in decline in the dropout rate of girl students.

The annual campaign known as Kanya Kelavni and Shala Praveshotsav started nine years ago and has already started paying dividends. A comparative study of the Census 2001 and 2011 shows a 13 per cent rise in the girls’ literacy rate and 29.77 per cent decrease in school dropout ratio of girls.

Modi is another Yedurappa

Source:ET 2 sep 2011

Unfazed by BJP apporaching the President on Gujarat Lokayukta issue, Congress today intensified its attack on the party and Narendra Modi calling him "another Yeddyurappa" whose government has been charged with a Rs 26,651 crore fraud.

"The CAG report has spoken of misappropriation and fraud of Rs 26,651 crore and the people are seeking the details. Hence this attack on constitutional institutions so as to avoid being exposed in front of the country," party leader Mohan Prakash told reporters at a joint press conference along with Leader of Opposition in Gujarat Assembly Shaktisinh Gohil and PCC chief Arjun Modhwadia.

They alleged that Modi was presiding over a "corrupt regime" and was apprehensive that an "independent" Lokayukta will expose him.

"Modi is another Yeddyurappa, or you can call him Modiappa. It is a desperate Modi and a desperate BJP.. which is a badi jhoothi (big liar) party," Gohil said.

Gohil even challenged Modi for a public debate at the place of the Chief Minister's choice on the issue of appointment of Lokayukta insisting that the Governor Kamla Beniwal had acted "as per law" in appointing justice R A Mehta as the lokayukta.

The BJP is up in arms against Mehta's appointment as Lokayukta by Beniwal without consulting Modi and his council of ministers with senior party leader L K Advani leading a delegation of party MPs to President Pratibha Patil today and and demanding immediate recall of the Governor.

Taking a dig at BJP, Gohil and Modhwadia said if they feel the truth is on their side why they are not fighting a legal battle and resorting to paralysing Parliament.

"The fact of the matter is that if there is an independent Lokayukta, then Modi will have to go and he is the biggest fund manager of the BJP", alleged Gohil.

“If J&K Assembly had passed a resolution similar to the Tamil Nadu one for Afzal Guru would the reaction have been as muted? I think not,” Abdullah tweeted on the social networking site.

Very Good question Omar. Please ask more such questions to these fake Hindutva people.

Burning Shame of Hindutva, Burning an european alive! - Part 1

The gruesome murder of an Australian missionary and his two sons in Orissa shocks the nation--and rattles the BJP-led government at the Centre.

By Ruben Banerjee, India Today

Even in death they were inseparable. Charred beyond recognition and reduced to fragile frames of ashes, the three bodies lay clinging to each other in what must have been a vain attempt to protect each other and escape the mob. But on the fateful night of January 22-23 in the wilderness of Manoharpur village in the sleepy rural outback of Orissa's Keonjhar district, nothing worked for the hapless father and his two sons. Having surrounded them from all sides, a murderous crowd set on fire the old four-wheel drive Willy's station wagon in which the three had retired for the night.

The beastly act done, Australian-born Christian missionary Graham Stewart Staines, 58, and his two sons, Phillip, 10, and Timothy, 7, were put to sleep forever. No sooner had its macabre mission been completed than the mob melted away in the darkness as the flames that had leapt skywards simmered. But the heat generated by the senseless killings and the outrage stoked are far from ebbing days after the incident.

With the campaign against Christians, so far confined to Gujarat, making its ugliest appearance in Orissa, the nation went numb with horror. Even as Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee hung his head in shame, his Government was rattled by the wave of condemnation. President K.R. Narayanan spoke for everyone when he described the murder as "a monumental aberration of time-tested tolerance and harmony. The killings belong to the world's inventory of black deeds". Confronted with the charge that the Bajrang Dal -- a militant Hindu outfit attached to the VHP and with links to the RSS -- was guilty of the horrific murder, the prime minister despatched a three-member cabinet team to Manoharpur and announced a judicial inquiry headed by a Supreme Court judge.

For the past 35 years, dressed in casuals, sporting his trademark hat and wheeling his rickety bicycle, Saibo -- as he was popularly called -- was a fixture in Baripada where he did "God's work", tending and nursing leprosy patients in a specially run home on the town's outskirts.

Born in Brisbane, as a young boy the Australian became a pen friend of one Santanu Satpathy of Baripada with whom he shared his birthday. The long-distance friendship bloomed and Staines visited Baripada to call on his friend. That was in 1965 and he never returned. Besides the idyllic landscape of the region, what touched him was the Leprosy Home run since the last century with help from the Leprosy Mission of Australia. Having barely finished school, Staines finally found his mission in life. He devoted himself to the Home -- eventually becoming its superintendent -- and also immersed himself in preaching the Bible by virtue of also being the convener and treasurer of the Evangelical Missionaries Society.

His dedicated service won him many hearts. Fluent in Oriya and the local Santhali dialect, Staines and his wife Glades, whom he married in the '80s, were pillars of the local society. Three years ago, a devastating fire in Baripada left at least a 100 dead and scores horribly burnt. The local hospital failed to cope and the Staines couple -- Glades is a trained nurse -- spent nights nursing the injured. Elected president-designate of the local Rotary chapter for 2001, Staines was a leading light in last month's Pulse Polio immunisation drive. He distributed leaflets enthusiastically while Glades drove the jeep that led the procession for creating awareness in Baripada.

Bomb blast by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

Sourcehttp://www.expressindia.com/latest-news/two-held-for-blast-in-thane-bomb-in-vashi/323787/

The state Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Monday made its first major breakthrough in the two cases of crude bombs planted at auditoriums in Navi Mumbai and Thane recently, with the arrest of two men claiming affiliation to an organisation called the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti.

According to the ATS, the two were also involved in a minor explosion at a Panvel cinema hall screening the film Jodhaa Akbar in February this year. The two claim to have planted the explosives on their own and not at the behest of any organisation.

According to the ATS, the duo claim their attacks were planned in retaliation to the screenings of the movie Jodhaa Akbar and the Marathi play Aamhi Panchpute, as they felt these caricaturised Hindu deities and insulted Hindu sentiments. The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti had earlier staged protests against the screening of the movie and the producer of the play.

The arrested accused are Ramesh Hanumant Gadkari (50) and Mangesh Dinkar Nikam (34). They were picked up by the ATS early on Monday from New Panvel and remanded to police custody till June 24.

“They have been arrested in connection with the crude bomb planted at Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in Vashi on May 31, and the bomb that exploded at Gadkari Rangayatan auditorium in Thane on June 4. They have been booked under the Indian Penal Code for attempt to murder, voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means, and voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous means, and under the Explosives Substances Act. ... we have evidence that they are also involved in the small explosion that took place in a theatre screening Jodhaa Akbar at Panvel on February 20,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (ATS) Hemant Karkare.

“They have told us that they are full-time members of the Hindu Jangruti Samiti and the Sanatan Sanstha. However, we have not recovered any documents to prove their membership. They claim that they did not act on orders from any organisation. However, we are probing the possible involvement of the organisation. Office bearers have been questioned and more arrests are likely,” said Karkare.

Following the arrests, the Mumbai coordinator of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Uday Dhuri, insisted that the organization was not involved.

“Gadkari was not instigated to react this way by us. It was on his own that the idea occurred to him because of the portrayal of the Mahabharat in the play, and even when the police came to find him, we helped them,” said Dhuri. He added that though there are people having associations with both, the Sanathan Sanstha is independent of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti.

The duo told the ATS that a combination of ammonium nitrate and gelatin sticks had been planted by them in all three cases. According to the ATS, Nikam was arrested in February 2006 in Ratnagiri, for allegedly throwing country-made bombs at the residence of a man who was believed to be conducting Christian rituals there.

The two accused operated from the Sanatan Sankul Ashram in Devegaon area of Panvel, where the bomb was assembled. Gadkari is a diploma holder in electrical engineering and was the one who prepared the circuit, while Nikam helped with sourcing the explosives, said police.

BJP came to power twice and it did not change anything because muslims fooled these hindutva people by gifting them a few "suitcases". This happens Only in India......

Wasting away your life for Hindu Terror - a sadhvi's story!

sourcehttp://www.financialexpress.com

New Delhi: Former ABVP activist and key terror accused Pragya Singh Thakur has told the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad that fellow radical Ramji Kalsangra was responsible for the September 29, 2008, Malegaon bomb blast which he executed using her motorcycle.

She has also told investigators that the casualty figure of seven in that blast would have been higher had it not been for a “faulty bomb timer”.

The Mumbai ATS recorded this statement on October 15, 2008, after Pragya Thakur did not reveal much in her two other statements on October 11 and October 12, 2008.

This statement, a copy of which is with The Indian Express, assumes significance as the Home Ministry proposes that the National Investigation Agency bring under its purview all terror cases involving alleged Hindu extremists, including Malegaon, Samjhauta Express and the murder of ex-RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi.

Pragya Thakur’s statement in Marathi focuses on a 30-minute critical meeting with Ramji Kalsangra — who had been using her Freedom motorcycle after the murder of Sunil Joshi in December 2007 — at the Mahakaal Dharmashala in Ujjain on October 8, 2008. Kalsangra has been missing since the bomb blast.

Thakur said she bought the vehicle (registered number GJ 05 BR 1920) from Surat in 2003 with financial assistance from her “rakhi brother” Sunil Joshi of Dewas. In November 2004, Thakur gave the motorcycle to Joshi for use for Rs 22,000. She said the motorcycle was never sold to Sunil Joshi.

Arriving in Ujjain after taking the night train from Indore, Thakur was received by Kalsangra’s aide Dharmendra. The meeting was fixed at the Mahakaal Dharmashala over a safe mobile phone handed over to Thakur by the Kalsangra aide at the railway station.

During the 30-minute conversation, Thakur says she asked Kalsangra about the motorcycle and asked him to come with her to Surat. The statement quotes Kalsangra saying: “I have used your vehicle for a bomb blast in Malegaon, Maharashtra.” When she asked him why did he do this, Kalsangra replied: “It happened.”

Thakur then said that she would have to go to jail as the vehicle was in her name. Ramji Kalsangra replied that she need not worry as he had changed the number-plate and filed off the vehicle’s engine and chassis number. He told her the police would find no clues.

According to her statement, Kalsangra told her that “two or three people” had died in Malegaon. Ramji said: “There was a mistake in timing of the bomb explosion. I tried to park the vehicle in one or two crowded places but could not do so. After this, I parked the vehicle at one place and left immediately. At that point, there was not much crowd in the vicinity and there was so much explosive packed in the vehicle that the entire rear-end was blown away.”

Thakur met the police inspector in Surat on October 10, 2008, with Kalsangra buying her a ticket to Surat and giving her another Rs 15,000 for expenditure.

In the statement, Thakur is also quoted as having said that she met Lt Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit on October 5, 2008 in Jabalpur. Purohit told her that he had orchestrated bomb blasts in Orissa, Karnataka and Maharashtra, “killing a large number of people.”

THE SADHVI & THE COLONEL

PRAGYA FELL OUT with Malegaon blast accused Col Shrikant Purohit over “money”, the Sadhvi has told the NIA. She said she met Purohit first in April 2008 at an Abhinav Bharat gathering.

PUROHIT sent text messages to associates saying “Singh has sung the song” after Pragya’s arrest, which, the NIA believes, could indicate that Purohit, Pragya and others were working together.

13 BJP-RSS men found guilty in Kerala bomb attack

Source:http://www.rediff.com/news/2008/nov/14-13-bjp-men-found-guilty-in-bomb-attack.htm

Kerala:All the 13 accused in a bomb attack on a house in 2000, in which three members of a family including a six-year old girl were injured, were found guilty by a local court in Kannur on Friday.

The Thalassery Additional Sessions Court (Fast Track-3) Judge B Ramakanth found the activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] guilty and said the sentence would be delivered on November 17.

The court found them guilty under various IPC sections including IPC 307 (attempt to murder) and Section 3 and 5 of the Explosives Substance Act.

The court dropped charges against the sixth accused K Pradeepan, following his death in a bomb explosion while handling crude bombs at Cheruvanchery last Monday.

The court examined 23 witnesses in the case.

According to the police, the incident occurred during panchayat polls on September 27, 2000, when a group of BJP/RSS workers threw a crude bomb when the girl was playing with her brother in front of her uncle's residence at Cheruvanchery.

The activists had assumed that some Congressmen were hiding in the house, a fall-out of the dispute between the rival Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress over electoral malpractices.

Besides the girl, whose right leg had to be amputated, her brother and mother were also injured.

PS: Breaking away from dynastic rule, RSS will name the bomb factory in kerala as Nathuram Godse Institute for Bomb Making

 Saffron terrorism

Source: arabnews.com

The Bharatiya Janata Party and its ideological ally Shiv Sena brought down the house on Friday over Home Minister Chidambaram’s innocuous remarks cautioning the nation against the phenomenon of “saffron terrorism.” (Saffron is a color associated with Hinduism).

Interestingly, in his speech, made at a conference of top police and intelligence officials this week, the minister had also talked of “jehadi terrorists.” The Hindutva parties, of course, had no issues with that. True to their rabble-rousing style, the BJP and Sena not just managed to ground Parliament proceedings, they put the government on the mat by demanding the minister’s head and an apology for insulting all Hindus.

So much so the governing Congress, ever fearful of hurting the sensitivities of the majority community, had to field its spokesperson to water down Chidambaram’s “saffron terror” remarks. Terror has no color, was more or less the thrust of his hypothesis.

Of course, no faith, race or country has a monopoly over terrorism. This is why we are opposed to all convenient and misguided labeling and stereotyping of any particular group or community. Terror is terror and crime is crime, no matter who the perpetrators or victims are. This, however, does not mean there’s no substance in Chidambaram’s caveat on the Hindu militancy threat facing the world’s largest democracy.

Indeed, the Hindutva brigade’s clamorous protests and their claim that there’s no such thing as saffron terrorism are simply breathtaking. It’s the same parties that have for years shouted from the rooftops about the threat of “Muslim terrorists and Islamic terrorism” stigmatizing an entire community. Now they have suddenly developed a distaste for labels.

But they cannot suppress the truth forever. And the truth about the Hindutva terror and the dangerous games fascist organizations such as RSS and its numerous avatars and fronts that include BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal have long played is finally coming out.

Over the past several months, the Central Bureau of Investigation and security agencies have made some sensational arrests that include top RSS and VHP functionaries, who have been involved in numerous terror attacks across India. It is now established beyond doubt that Hindu extremists were behind the 2007 terror strikes on the historical Makkah Masjid in Hyderabad and the famous Ajmer shrine. Their hand has also been found in the serial blasts targeting Malegaon in Maharashtra in 2008 that killed scores of Muslims and attacks in scenic Goa in 2009. Even the terror strike on the cross-border Samjhota Express in 2007 that killed 68 people is now suspected to have been carried out by the same forces.

Interestingly, all these attacks were initially blamed on “Muslim terrorists” and Pakistan-based groups, leading to hundreds of innocent young Muslim men being picked up from cities like Hyderabad and tortured for months. In fact, many innocent Muslims such as Ishrat Jahan and her four friends were killed in cold blood as terrorists.  Painstaking investigations over the past couple of years have found the hand of a dangerous labyrinth of Hindutva groups such as Abhinav Bharat, Rashtriya Jagran Manch, and Sanatan Sanstha behind the attacks.  Cleverly exploiting the prejudice against Muslims in India’s security establishment, these outfits plotted against the “usual suspects” as well as the nation that they claim to love.

This is why it is rather rich for BJP and Shiv Sena to protest Chidambaram’s measured words. India cannot fight the challenges it faces on this front without calling a spade a spade. This does not mean there can be no terrorists in Muslim ranks or that the community can lower its guard against the threat of extremism in its midst.

Most Democratic Party called BJP

Sourcehttp://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/story/bjp-big-guns-likely-to-fire-at-each-other-in-battlefield-up/1/143824.html

Anxious to prove his mettle as the BJP president, Nitin Gadkari has marshalled many a senior leader in Uttar Pradesh with a view to regaining the lost ground ahead of next year's elections.

Kalraj Mishra.
State unit chief Surya Pratap Shahi has been travelling extensively to attract upper caste votes, but Gadkari appointed party vice-president Kalraj Mishra as in-charge of the Uttar Pradesh affairs. Later, he reinducted Uma Bharti to rejuvenate the party in the state. His latest move to rope in former BJP chief Rajnath Singh for overall supervision has raised some eyebrows.

Though the state party leaders are keeping silent for now, Gadkari apparently doesn't understand that bringing these adversaries together would do the party more harm than good. It could be used as battleground for settling personal scores rather than a stage for performing in tandem and winning the assembly elections in style.

Rajnath Singh.
Rajnath has claimed that his appointment wouldn't lead to groupism or create any confusion in the poll-bound state. Rajnath said, "UP is my home state and I should have the authority to work for the party in the elections. Why are people questioning my appointment?" Earlier, both Kalraj and Bharti had made similar noises, claiming that they were working towards the same goal and there was no friction.

But those reading between the lines know that the situation is far from what it appears to be.

"Rajnath didn't even tolerate L.K. Advani, let alone Kalraj and Uma, between himself and power. At the party's national executive in Lucknow on December 24, 2006, he couldn't hide his prime ministerial ambitions when Advani was generally believed to be the PM-in-waiting," a senior party leader said.

"Kalraj and Rajnath are the opposites of each other. In the early 90s, they had their own set of followers who used to conspire against each other. Their supporters are already fighting over who would become the CM if the BJP wins. Uma is honest but an egoist. The presence of so many leaders will only destroy our prospects in the state," he added.

Gadkari has also appointed Narendra Singh Tomar as the state in-charge. Samanand Singh and Karuna Shukla are already frequenting UP these days in their capacity as the party's "co-incharge" of the state.

In 2009, the BJP had fielded 71 candidates on the 80 Lok Sabha seats and 33 of them lost even the security deposit. The party could win only 10 seats and ended up as the runners-up on 11 seats.

State BJP's former president Ramapati Ram Tripathi said, "Our overall vote share had increased from 17.50 in 2004 to 22.17 in 2009. I don't deny there was some problem with our planning. The Congress and the SP succeeded in convincing the voters that we were non-secular."

Of course, he didn't mention that the number of BJP's seats tumbled from 88 in 2002 to 50 in the 2007 assembly elections and its vote share fell from 21 per cent to 17 per cent.

The obvious reason was that the many power centres in the state confused the cadre and the voters alike.

History of tussle

The Thakur-Brahmin angle to the rivalry goes back a long way

Kalraj Mishra and supporters have been nursing the grouse ever since the then minister's claim was overlooked to appoint Rajnath as the CM

The move to send Rajnath for 'Mission UP' is being seen as an attempt to curtail Mishra's freedom in ticket distribution.

RSS men killed while making bombs

Source:kafila.org

Two bajarangdal leaders were killed while 2 others injured on 24 August when they were making bombs in Kanpur in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP) as reported by Urdu daily Rashtriya Sahara in its front page. According to Sahara, the blast was so strong that the wall of the room in which the blast occurred collapsed. In other rooms, the walls were damaged. Pieces of glass were strewn everywhere.

The bomb blasted in a house in Rajeev Nagar area on Sunday afternoon. According to the report, the police recovered 3 kg lead oxide, 500 g red lead, 1 kg potassium nitrate, 11 country made grenades, several bomb pins, seven timers and batteries from the spot. According to the IG, “The recovery shows that a massive explosion was on the cards.

The deceased have been identified as Rajeev Mishra and Bhupinder Singh. While Rajeev is the son of S S Mishra, the landlord of the house, Bhupinder was a resident of Shastri Nagar. Mishra, a retired Kanpur Electric Supply Company employee, lives in the nearby Nankari village. He had rented a few rooms of his house to several students.

Rajeev’s occupied the room in which the blast took place. As he works in Lucknow, he used to visit the place on Sundays.

According to a senior police officer, the material found could have been used for several explosions. Of the seven timers recovered, two were attached with batteries with the help of wires.

It is reported that Piyush, who used to work as a complaint officer in a mobile company in Lucknow, came home with Bhupinder and asked the residents of the hostel to vacate the rooms on the pretext of checking the electric wiring. Shiv Sharan Mishra, Rajiv’s father, a retired employee of Kesko had built this private hostel, which had nine rooms and 14 students stayed in the hostel and Rajiv had kept one room for himself. As soon as the occupants left the hostel, a massive blast took place. Recovery of a timer device and prohibited explosive raw materials show that a major terror plot was being hatched there. Bhupinder used to run a photo studio in the Sarvoday Nagar locality of Kanpur and his shop was close to the city’s popular J.K. temple, police said. According to the police the explosives were meant to be spread during Sunday’s celebrations. On monday police recovered some crude hand grenades, lead oxide, red lead, potassium nitrate, bomb pins, timers and batterires from the spot. The police felt that the quantity of explosives stored there was enough to destroy half of Kanpur.

The most notable fact about the perpetrators of this conspiracy, who died during this explosion, is that both of them belonged to Bajrang Dal, the ‘storm troopper’ wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The leaders of the Bajrang Dal have conceded that they ‘worked with the organisation’ some time back and one of them happened to be the convenor of the city wing.

Looking at the nature of the crime, and the fact that a major tragedy could be averted, it is expected that the state government with necessary help from the central government would try to unearth the real conspirators who were behind the plan. It is a positive sign that the police have recovered mobiles of both of them and now if they wish they can take the case to its logical end.

After the blast in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, all fingers were pointed towards Muslims. Intelligence along with Media would hide all reports and facts that would point fingers towards the non Muslim communities. Now this explosion may point the finger the other day. Senior congress leader Dig Vijay Singh had said in an interview with Tehelka that he had evidence of Of RSS and VHP making bombs. Now, this explosion may prove that Dig Vijay may be right.

2 RSS men killed while manufacturing bombs

Source:Express News Service  Eleven November Two thousand Eight

PANUR-Kerala: In yet another mysterious bomb explosion, two RSS activists were killed near Athyarkavu temple at Cheruvancherry here on Monday morning.

Those killed were RSS karyavahak Kanhan Pradeepan, 38, and another worker Lalaveetil Dili alias Dileesh, 35. Pradeepan was an accused in the Ashna murder attempt case. Incidentally, the court had only announced a couple of days ago that the judgment in the Ashna case would be pronounced on November 14.

According to the police, the explosion might have taken place while the two were engaged in making bombs. The impact of the blast was such that their bodies were blown to pieces. Burnt human flesh and mutilated organs were strewn in and around a well near the temple. Parts of the body of Pradeepan had to be scooped out of the well. Locals who rushed to the spot could find only the charred remains of the bodies.

It was festival time at Athyarkavu and there were devotees at the temple late into Sunday night. The area is supposedly a BJP-RSS stronghold and the temple “under the control” of the latter. Reliable sources say the RSS workers were killed not while making the bombs but while shifting the bombs, kept in a hedge near the temple, to another place. The police sources, however, refused to confirm this version.

The incident was as much a shock to the local people as it was startling to the police who are busy investigating terrorists links of youths in the district.

Shops and other commercial establishments remained closed in Cheruvancherry town and vehicles kept off the road in the area following the incident.

Forensic experts were trying to analyse the cause of the explosion, and police officials were camping in the area.

Close on the wheels of alleged rape of a minor by two constables, the chairman of a civic body and the son of a senior BJP leader allegedly killed a woman after outraging her modesty in Sawaimadhopur district, police said today.

The four accused, including the Chairman of Sawaimadhopur Nagar Palika, the son of BJP leader Rampal Jaat and the son of PA to Collector, besides a person named Rajkumar Sahu, were today booked for allegedly raping and poisoning to death the 22-year old woman yesterday, they said.

"When we received information by locals, we took the body in our possession last night and a postmortem was conducted today. Prima facie, she died due to poison," an investigating officer said, adding the woman's family members were hesitant to inform police and she died on way to SMS Hospital here.

In Modi's Gujarat you are killed if you fight for justice ...

Posted On Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 02:34:56 AM Ahmedabadmirror

Even as people back Anna Hazare demanding a corruption-free India, one man quietly but determinedly filed a public interest litigation seeking appointment of a lokayukta in Gujarat.  His anguish and agony is understandable. His young son was murdered sometime back opposite Gujarat High Court because he was using his right to seek information against the rich, powerful and politically connected mining mafia. Bhikhubhai Jethava, father of slain RTI activist Amit Jethava, says Gujarat is an unsafe place for all those who fight for their rights. “

Excerpts from an interview:

What made you file the PIL demanding a lokayukta?

My son had filed a PIL in 2008. There already is a law in Gujarat but the state government is deliberately not appointing a lokayukta. When my son filed the PIL, the state government assured Gujarat High Court  of appointing lokayukta “immediately”.  It didn’t happen. Hence this PIL.

What would you achieve by filing this PIL?

I feel pained. Everybody is carried away by the hype that Gujarat is vibrant. My son was fighting for justice. He was fighting against corruption and politicians. There are two reasons for filing this PIL: to continue my son’s fight against corruption and politicians, and to support the movement started by Anna Hazare. I have spoken to Anna several times on the issue.

How will lokayukta benefit the state?

What is the other way left in Gujarat at the moment to seek justice? Those who raise their voice against falsehood, injustice or corruption are eliminated. From Haren Pandya to Amit Jethava. What is the action taken against corruption and injustice under the Narendra Modi government? The institution of lokayukta is the only recourse left for common people like us to get justice and to fight against powerful politicians and corruption. Once lokayukta is in place, believe me, several ministers will be behind bars. Today, corruption has crossed its limits in Gujarat.

People can know where their leaders stand once lokayukta is in place. Until now, all of us thought Karnataka government was good. So much development and international investment has come to Bangaluru. But look what (BS) Yeddyurappa had done there.  Worse things are happening in Gujarat but no action is being taken against those responsible. Lokayukta is Gujarat’s only hope to know the reality.

Have you received any threat?

I will be murdered. Isn’t that what happens in Gujarat when you fight for justice? What happened to Haren Pandya? It was a political murder. What happened to my son? Specially after this petition, my life is in danger.

How can you say there is corruption in Gujarat? The state is known for clean governance.

Corruption in Gujarat is different. Gujarat has traditionally been very progressive and rich. Right now corruption that exists in Gujarat is not only different from that in other states but dangerous. We are a border state. Still our government is sheltering and doling out land to industrialists who have been sent to jail for extortion or custom evasion.

My son was fighting to stop illegal limestone quarries. He had openly named BJP MP Dinu Bogha Solanki. He had proof. Still what happened? My son was murdered. Haren Pandya deposed before a people’s tribunal about Narendra Modi’s complicity in the genocide, that he was responsible for the death of hundreds of innocent people in 2002 riots. What happened? Modi became number one and Harenbhai was killed. This is Gujarat. It is sad that in Gandhi’s Gujarat we blindly support Anna but are ignoring corrupt and criminal gujarat politicians.

SHE MAY BE DESIROUS OF RAHUL GANDHI TO BECOME PM

Naturally, unless Manmohan Singh is discredited enough she would not find ways to install Rahul Gandhi on the throne of PM. The silence of Rahul Gandhi till today in between the strong movement of Anna Hazare is a clear sign that he does not want to get any type of discredit in connection with Jan Lokpal Bill in the wake of foolish acts of negative propaganda by the congress spokes persons and cabinet ministers as well as the Delhi Police to arrest Anna on their direction, so that there may not remain any hurdle in his way to become a PM.

Dear Ajay,

You are welcome!

Court issues notice to Gujarat government
Source: Indian Express

Seeks explanation on why Lokayukta has not been appointed in the State

The Gujarat High Court on Thursday issued a notice to the Narendra Modi government asking it to explain why no Lokayukta had been appointed in the State so far.

A Division Bench comprising justices Akil Kureshi and Sonia Gokani, issued the notice to the Chief Secretary, asking him to file an affidavit detailing the latest status.

The court notice comes a day after the Cabinet decided to set up a Judicial Enquiry Commission and named the retired judge of the Supreme Court, M. B. Shah, to constitute the panel to probe 15 of the 17 charges (two issues being sub-judice) of corruption levelled against the Chief Minister and some of his Cabinet colleagues by the State Congress in a memorandum submitted to President Pratibha Patil in June this year, seeking her intervention.

The Court issued the notice on a Public Interest Litigation plea filed by Bhikha Jethava, the father of the slain RTI activist, Amit Jethava.

The petitioner contended that non-appointment of Lokayukta was “illegal and unconstitutional” and also sought the court's directives to the State government to appoint the Lokayukta within a stipulated period in accordance with the State Lokayukta Act in existence for the last two decades.

The last Lokayukta appointed in the State was in 1998 by the then Keshubhai Patel government. The Lokayukta, retired High Court judge S. M. Soni, had resigned from the post in 2003 soon after Mr. Modi led the BJP to a resounding victory in the Assembly elections in December, 2002.

Since then the post has remained vacant, with both the government and the Opposition blaming each other for lack of consensus on a candidate as required under the Act.

As the State government kept dragging its feet, the slain RTI activist filed a PIL plea in April last year, a few months before he was gunned down in front of the High Court, seeking the court's directions for the appointment of a Lokayukta.

There are plenty of NGOs that have been fighting corruption for more than a decade. for e.g. Janaagraha, Loksatta etc etc. It is these NGOs that are doing the real painful work BUT Anna gets all the credit without doing any work.

The Right Wing will kill whoever opposes them? Why is Anna Silent?

Speculations were rife over the motive behind the killing of Shehla Masood. Even as her family demanded a CBI inquiry into the incident, the police said that they were exploring all angles, including suicide.

The activist’s body was found on Tuesday in her car, parked in front of her house in Koh-e-fiza locality, hours before she was to lead a campaign in support of Anna Hazare. There were no eyewitnesses and no one heard any gun shot, at least no one had come forward till late on Wednesday, the police said. The preliminary post mortem report submitted to the authorities on Wednesday did not use the word suicide but suggested that the injuries could only be self-inflicted.

No weapon was found inside the car. The police had reached the scene of crime 25 minutes after the incident and had found the body in the seat adjacent to the driver’s in the Santro car. “We moved her because we could feel the pulse and wanted to take her to the hospital in the same car,” her cousin Rahil said.

The police said they had asked occupants of nearby houses, but no one had heard any sound or seen anyone near the vehicle.

In her late 30s, Shehla had filed several applications under the RTI in GAD, Mines and Minerals and Forests departments over the last few years. There were speculations that she was on the way to the Income Tax office for an appeal under the RTI after her earlier applications seeking information against a BJP leader and a medical college owner were rejected.

Don't try to cloak your BJP-driven agenda with these posts, Ajay Kumar Khaitan. You are a BJP-RSS agent and a majority of toostep colleagues know this. The number of posts supporting this Sonia column prove your game is over and you are thoroughly exposed. Go and hang yourself with shame.

The true face of Modi - Part 1

Ahmedabad/ Delhi:  Sanjeev Bhatt, then Rahul Sharma and now Rajnish Rai - as three of Gujarat's Indian Police Service officers claim that they are being harassed by the Narendra Modi government for cases pertaining to the 2002 riots in the state, the political war of words has also intensfied.

Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that the Centre can intervene if the officers approach them. "The Gujarat issue is a matter of concern.  Rules provide for the central government to take certain action. If the officer invokes the rule, certainly we will do it," Mr Chidambaram said.

A furious BJP has hit back at Mr Chidambaram.  "His views are against the federal structure. The centre should not act as a big brother," senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley said.

Rajnish Rai, who has for some months now been on a collision course with the state government, has filed a rejoinder with the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) alleging that he was victimised by his senior officers since he had carried out an unbiased probe in the Sohrabuddin case. The CAT adjudicates in disputes and complaints with respect to recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed to public services.

CAG Report exposes corruption in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: A report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ended March 31, 2008 lays bare several irregularities in Gujarat government departments.

Deficient management, delays in completing projects, losses by short recovering of liquidated damages and other problems have been highlighted in the report.

The CAG report finds:

  • Irregularities in planning and execution of the controversial Sujalam Sufalam project
  • GSPC suffered a loss of Rs 106.71 crore by short recovering liquidated damages from contractor Essar Oil Limited
  • Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam spent Rs 9.92 crore for availing consultancy services which remained unfruitful
  • GSEC passed undue benefit of Rs 37.27 crore to contractors because of improper fixation of monthly average coal per wagon

"We have made our transaction audit observations and also put on record the irregularities and losses wherever. There is time overlap in some cases, excess payments in some cases,” says Principal Accountant General, Gujarat Region, Nandini Kapdi.

The state government is not responding yet but the Congress alleges large-scale corruption is the reason why the Narendra Modi government is not appointing a Lok Ayukta.

"There are so many irregularities. But Modi wants to shield himself and his ministers, so he is not appointing a Lok Ayukta for the past six years,” says Spokesperson, Congress, Arjun Modhvadia.

Modi's developed Gujarat

AHMEDABAD: In a volte-face, social activist Anna Hazare, whose praise for Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi had invited displeasure from his own supporters, on Thursday described the State as a “land of scams”, where, despite prohibition, “more liquor flows than milk.”

Mr. Hazare, who, along with fellow activists Swami Agnivesh and Arvind Kejriwal, was on a day's visit to the State for an “interaction” with the people to draw points for the draft Jan Lokpal bill, said, after talking to people's representatives, that he found a “different Gujarat” from the image he had of the State in his mind. “After coming here, I have realised there is so much corruption in Gujarat. There is nothing but scams in Gujarat and it is regrettable that in the land of Mahatma Gandhi so much liquor flows, more than even milk, [even] though prohibition is still supposed to be in force,” Mr. Hazare said at a “public hearing” attended by various civil society groups and voluntary organisations at the Gujarat Vidyapith, founded by Gandhiji, here.

The social activist, who, soon after having broken his indefinite fast over the Lokpal Bill last month, had described Mr. Modi as the model of development and advised other Chief Ministers to follow Gujarat's and Bihar's pattern for progress, on Thursday told Mr. Modi to appoint a Lokayukta at the earliest and take steps to stop land scams in the State. He said the State needed to follow the Maharashtra pattern, where any land to be allocated to industries was required to be approved by “gram sabhas” (the village panchayats). “The gram sabhas should be empowered in a way that no transaction pertaining to village land can take place without their permission,” he said, adding that it was the best way to stop land scams. With regard to allegations of forcible acquisition of cultivable lands for industrial purposes by the government, he said the “people's movement for land reforms, to stop forcible acquisition, would be started from Gujarat” once the current move for drafting the Jan Lokpal Bill was over.

Swami Agnivesh said that after having attended the public hearing, which had exposed the “false claims” made by the Modi government regarding development, his outlook had changed. “Gujarat is not vibrant, as shown by Mr. Modi. Gujarat is the land of scams,” he said. The activist said the Modi government was taking the help of American media agencies to project a false picture of the State's development. Mr. Kejriwal cautioned that if the government continued to take lands forcibly, it could lead to civil war.

1. Why she went to USA for her treatment

2. why she tried to hide her Ailment

3. Aids or Cancer, why she has no Trust in India

4. So, Why we Indians should Trust her

The way Sonia & all congressmen were hiding her Ailment, I thought it was AIDS, but if it is Cancer then why so much of hiding...... It is very common now-a-days........

Still, I can hardly believe Fake Sonia (Antonio Maino) & all Congressmen for the simple reason

1. Controversy about her Date of Birth

2. Controversy about her Birth Place

3. Controversy about her Dual Citizenship

4. Controversy about her Education - she is not even High School

5. Controversy about her Job in England

6. Controversy about her relations with Rajiv

7. Controversy about her Swiss Accounts

8. Controversy about her Passport

9. Everything about Fake Sonia Gandhi (Antonio Maino) is doubtful
