BT Crops are still in an experimental stage. They may give a greater yield. But the damage to the environment and the soil below is unknown. What are the effects of cross-pollination between a BT field and a non-BT field standing side-by-side. The crop the BT produces is sterile. It cannot be used as seed in the next years crop, Does this cause any problem in the ground-environment if after say 2 years, I decide to switch off BT. How easy will it be? There are no firm answers to questions like this
