Need of digital library for newspapers in India??

The challenge of preservation of traditional newspapers has to be answered soon in the wake of technological advancements and need of universal access. IT companies and government must do something to ensure that the precious content is not lost.  IFLA has also recommended this. A conference of foreign delegates and  people leading national libraries was held. everyone understood the need of preservation of digital content on priority basis.

Noting that digital preservation is a cost- intensive process that require constant up gradation due to technological changes, high rated efforts with huge finances are required . Hence , the government should take the initiative to grasp the opportunity and also make tenders with good private IT companies to go for the required applications

I completely agree with Prassan's idea. the way these banks make the selection should be amended. It is very time consuming. The gestation from which a candidate gives his exam to final placement is so large that the candidate shifts to some other place. 
yes..because what happens around you definitely affects ...more or less. ....so , it seems that this time the downturn wont be as severe as earlier.
