Negative Votes or Thumbs down should not be done on toostep?

Should we give thumbsdown to someone if his argument is not valid. Or for the sake of making everyone happy with current points we should not vote him down or thumb down?

Yes we should thumb down if we dont like any article . There is no need to stop this process here on toostep .let it happen bcoz it gives us chance to improve our articles quality for next time . so i think there is no need to stop this option from toostep.com

If we should not thumb down, then Why thumb down is there in toostep. lets remove it altogether from here, So that it doesnt cause anyone to lose points. And also animosity among the users, which i have seen prevalent among many users. They keep fighting over the point, why have you given me thumb down.

Yes the real purpose behind thumbs up or down lies is to improve quality or to make u more professional in the way we are sharing / referring knowledge in this forum.POSITIVE CRITICISM IS ALWAYS GOOD....DON'T MAKE THESE UP AND DOWN OF THUMBS......TOOL FOR  PERSONNEL  ATTACKS

Yes Sujit - we should thumb down.  It is a matter of right.  We should certainly thumb down when Sujit attempts to argue in support, while clicking a different button which says "we should not thumb down"!!!

My only request is to all to stick to some standards of fair assessment.
