Definitely it will gain a lot of public attention. With so many facilities in one cell (Even social networking and TV) and cost only Rs 11000/- it will make a huge market among Nokia lovers.

"Good" provided the Service Providers can provide adequate

networtok to support the product and proposed features.

Also cost of the Mobile device need to come down to make

required business impact. I support Ms.Sonam's comment on this

However, I am sure in the next three years, such products

and features will become available, accessible and affordable

including in the rural India.

Paul.

As very correctly said that "Change is only constant in todays Market". Nokia is applying the same strategy. Need & want of customer is changing very fast & they need different product compare to others. Today a Professional person don't have much time to go through all news in newspaper to keep them update with the current news, this technology will really help them to get all news with internet facility to access all important work from anyplace. This will help all of us & I do think that this mobile will do good in the Indian Market.

Partically I don't agree these devices will sustain in the market. I haven't completely looked at it..The price is the major factor and also the service providers charges..

The TV enabled phone had been in commercial market in eastern countries like Korea , Taiwan and Japan form longtime. They have even lots of channels being transmitted in DVBH (Digital Video Broadcast - Handheld) format. Still it is not a runaway success.

The concept has many limitation  such as  the screen size and the battery backup.

Plus it shows many concerns of people being vulnerable to  more accidents and other carelessness.

But with the entry of Nokia in this market it surely marks a important event. As the world's largest Handset maker finds some market in it.

Still i feel some basic limitations needs to be addressed before it becomes a commercial success story. And it can be used as a way of entertainment rather than just a way of being in touch of live events and news (Watching news is the most important use of these phones till now!)

Thanks for reading the views.

I cannot enjoy picture viewing on a 2 / 3 inch screen!! I have my doubts about the success but yes there would be an exodus for the innovation and I do not really feel that even the brand would be able to ring the cash registers!!

I don't think that this TV edition is going to be successful because today competition is tough in market and I think that also nobody is going to watch TV on mobile until it's picture quality is best. So let's see what happen's and we will come to know only after it comes in the market.

Its good that Nokia is giving so many facilities, but how much they will be successful that will be known only after the phone comes into the market. Earlier also, many phones(Even Nokia) promised many things about many of its cell phones which even came in the market but could not sustain due to less life. So, before it comes in the hands of common man, it will be very early to say anything.
