Do you think that prices for oil was the reason of inflation?

In my opinion oil was the cause of the inflation. It really takes time for the market to slow down when reached to such a height.

Yes, I agree to what my friend said that it takes time for the market to slow down but if you see the commodity market the price drop in oil is approximately $40 a barrel and the inflation has reduced to 11.44% but still it remains a all time height. That simply tells that there are other factors also which had influenced height in inflation.

I don't think that only oil was the reason for inflation in the market because now the price of oil has been reduced to $90 a barrel and the result are not great for the market.
