With the attack of newer media platforms and ad spend being classified for the company, do you think the classification of media into traditional and Non traditional is just a strategy for agencies to "bill" the corporate?? After all this is a game of who creates? What? How? and the most important of all, people reaction on social platforms to the creation. Virtually every creative is being discussed or blogged on some forum or the other.

The name of todays game for brands is VISIBILITY!! All the possible areas where you can catch that much needed "EYEBALL"... agencies display the brand / product!! In keeping with the cash crunch, financial short comings, was it necessary for agencies to create new names for existing media and then push the same to their clients for better billing?? Creatives are getting better and better. Brands are evolving. Brand hygeine is getting looked into for breathing new life in it or leasing a life line... Its the most thrilling and happening scenario!! Now after the so called recession, there is going to be a huge spurt in activity, cells are going to buzz with ads, internet will see advent of more newer brands and the client will be in "KNOTS: trying to decide which media to spend on??? Whats your take on this people...

It's very true that best creations wins however advertising has changed a lot in a decade or so. Advertisers were always very creative but one thing I would like to add that in recent years advertising becomes more innovative apart from creative.

In India itself we have seen lot of creativity & innovation that's why in recent years we have won so many global advertisement awards.

After the emergence of internet concept of advertising becomes totally different. Now advertisers are ready to pay directly to their ultimate consumer (target market) just for seeing/ viewing their advertisement. One of the best examples is mGinger.com where each individual has to register with the website with their mobile no.

After registering a person receive different SMS of promotion. Each SMS will fetch 10 paisa to that individual. If that person will refer mGinger.com to some other person then also he receives some money.

So, everybody wants to connect directly to ultimate consumer whether it'S  retail chain or advertisement.

In a competitive market, every brand wants to have their brand to be visible. That urge in visibility is making agencies create new type of forms of marketing and bill the companies. For example, now companies have started concentrating on Mobile marketing with revenue to be collected only when a consumer clicks their ad.
