It is definitely a movie to be watched by everyone of us. There is a message in the movie that shows how scuh children shuold be treated in the society. Encouraging people to watch these kind of movies is always a good thing, and granting tax concession will always help, as many directors and producers will come up with movies that provide social messages.

I guess Mr Narendra Modi did the same in a different way. In return Amitabh was asked to be the Brand Ambassador for Gujarat. This shows, as you go south of Vindhyas art kindles an appreciation without asking for anything in return. I also remember Amitabh had organized a special show to  Mr Modi - and the rest followed. Among political leaders Mr Advani is known to be a movie buff. Samajwadi Party has significant presence of people from the movie world, which may change now with Amar Singh going out. Politicians have a great connect to movies and they know very well that it is a powerful medium to reach people. If Mr Yediyurappa felt that Karnataka people should not miss this movie, he is right in the gesture. I do not see any political mileage of significance from this gesture. Sounds quite genuine, even if there is a cue taken from his political peer from Gujarat.

If such a veteran actor could dedicate his time and effort for a cause,it is heartwarming to know that there are politicians too who reciprocate the effort.I too have heard that it is a good movie.Thanks Mr Prabhu for the reference.
