Pakistan charges seven suspects over Mumbai attacks

A court in Pakistan has charged seven people in connection with last year's attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai. They include the alleged mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. Mr Lakhvi and the other suspects were charged under Pakistan's anti-terrorism act and criminal code. All seven have pleaded not guilty. More than 170 people, including nine gunmen, were killed in the attacks in November. Nine other suspects have been charged in their absence. Some of those are thought to be at large in Pakistan - others overseas. The attacks led India to suspend peace talks with Pakistan. Indian PM Manmohan Singh said in July talks would not restart until the Mumbai attacks suspects were brought to justice.

We can never trust our this neighbour. It has always betrayed our friendly approaches. Earlier also, on one has it was doing Lahore peace talks with Mr. Vajpayee, on the other hand, it was sending terrorists in Kargil. Who knows this one is also their another strategy to gain US faith! Future will tell whats going in their mind...

What i believe... every act of Pakistan should not be viewed with suspision.. i mean say no to no... this is an act of Pakisatan which we must welcome... considering orthodox fanaticism the government of Pak. dared take this step... i am in favor of this...

Lets hope so, from past few months, Pakistan itself is suffering from terrorist attacks. It seems now it is slowly understanding terrorists belongs to nobody. They will attack the one who made it. Maybe because of this, they are thinking against terrorism and has started taking actions against it. Its a good turn towards the friendship of the two nations.
