Is it that we see them as threat and they see us. Is it possible that they feel that the same way as we feel about them. Do you think it is fair to say we are a threat to them? Is it that we see them as threat and they see us. Is it possible that they feel that the same way as we feel about them. Do you think it is fair to say we are a threat to them?
Pakistanis see India as threat. A poll says this. How can it be? they are not afraid of those US people who came into their country but are afraid of us. Are we so scary. Do you think India in any way is threat ti the pakistanis?

They are less scared of Taliban than us! How can it be. I do not understand how can we harm them. If we  had any plans, we would have done it way back!

As a general rule every person who thinks of himself to be weak, stands united against the strong and it is irrelevent whether the strong person abuses him or not. The goons who have become dons are also fearful people and therefore they keep dogs around them to defend them. it is a simple rule

On a People to people level, we are still friends, brothers and sisters... look at situations when individuals come from Pak to India, the child who got treated at Narayana Hrudhalaya etc., But on Political level, we are still not in good terms.

The question is not clear. Is it looking India as a threat, Politically, Economically, Socially or Militarily?

Politically, may be yes. Because the leaders misguide the mass for the Handful of people & give shelters to undesirable elements(terrorist) to create skirmishes as and when required to achieve the Group intend purpose(amassing wealth by few).

Economically, I think, we are not threatening them. As you see in the recent past, the visa formalities are formalized very easy so that, the trade & commerce between them improves.

Socially, I think, may be they feel a threat. Because a bigger Hindu community close  very next to a minority Muslim nation professing a very different faith.

Militarily, I think, there now  , they feel to get a threat from us. Because of recent occurrence in this sphere viz, Osama's annihilation, US intervention in their territory, attack of airbase so on and so forth.

Dear Sarika,,

IT RECIPROCALLY APPLIES TO PEOPLE OF BOTH THE COUNTRIES. ACCORDING TO THE SAME SURVEY, ONLY PAKISTANIS ARE NOT SCARED FROM INDIANS, BUT INDIANS ARE ALSO SCARED FROM PAKISTANIS. THE POLL OF INDIANS, AS CONDUCTED BY PEW RESEARCH BRINGS THE FOLLOWING RESULT:

"Indians express negative opinions of Pakistan; 65% have an unfavorable view of their traditional rival and more name Pakistan as India’s biggest threat (45%) than name Lashkar-e-Taiba (19%) or Naxalites (16%). Yet, like Pakistanis, Indians would like to see improved relations between the two countries and most support increased trade between India and Pakistan"

SO WHILE ONLY 57% PAKISTANIS HAVE SHOWED THREAT FROM INDIANS, 65% OF INDIANS HAVE SHOWN THREAT FROM PAKISTANIS.

PEOPLE OF BOTH THE NATIONS CANNOT BE BLAMED FOR ALL THAT. IN FACT THIS IS THE RESULT OF CONTINUOUS NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA BY THE GOVERNMENTS OF BOTH THE NATIONS AND EXXAGERATED BY THE MEDIA OF BOTH SIDES FOR THE LAST MORE THAN 63 YEARS. OLDER GENERATIONS KNOW THIS FACT VERY WELL, WHILE NEW GENERATIONS GOT THE HATRED FILLED RIGHT FROM THEIR BIRTH.

Dear Sairam,

You cannot treat the whole lot of Pakistani's as hooligans and involved in criminal activities just for a handful of rascals, which are created by the efforts of ISI of Pakistan by taking advantage of their extreme poverty and to fulfill their desires to earn some livelihood or of a few thrill-loving creatures.

People of Pakistan and India, both have the same culture and before division of India in to two nations, that too with the foolishness of a few politicians aided by the Britishers, both the communities were quite friendly with each other community.

This is the only reason which took pakistan back. They always use to blackmail and threat India. India can not be threat for anyone because it follows the Gandhian vichardhara. In fact Pakistani rulers wasted their powers to spoil and ruin India. If they have taken care of the pakistan's public and Pak they must not have felt the subject thing.

JUST BECAUSE OF FEW CULPRITS TWO COUNTRIES WERE SEPARATED, IT IS REALLY A SORRY SIGHT TO SEE INDIA WAS SEPARATED FROM PAKISTAN IN SPITE OF BEING ON GOOD TERMS.

THANK YOU SIR FOR ENLIGHTENING ME.

WARM REGARDS.

Thanks Sarika for referral. We are harmless and we can not harm them in any way. They by nature are hardcore and fighter. Nobody needs to be assured that they can harm us. This they have shown time and again. If we could harm them than their nation would have gone way back. The real threat to them is not us but Taliban whom they are sheltering.

hello Sarika,it's quite natural that Pakistani's feel like that.in all ways we are one foot ahead of them.not only that,we do have a very stable Govt.irrespective of party in power where they are in troubled state since country's birth.funny part of all is any pakistan Govt cannot survive without American aid but majority of people dosen't like America!! so hating India is not new or uncommon to those type of mindsets.

Sarika I agree with your statement. In this context since India helped create Bangladesh Pakistan see us as a threat which is not true at all.

You are right, Sarika. We are harmless.

But it should not be that way. There is no face value of Harmess people in this world. One should have either nuisance value or absolute power to crush nuisance.

India should not project itself before world as a harmless country. It should should display enough economic strength and military power, that neighbouring countries will have some sort of fear. And yes, FEAR is the only emotion Pakistan understands........

I read the article. Pew agency of USA conducted this survey. It is not the problem of people there. The nation came into being on the foundations of hatred towards India. Over generations, hatred against India is being taught in their Madarsas. Majority of the people send their children to Madarsas instead of to regular schools. They dont know the real picture about India. Is it not the Pakistan fought three wars with India and sending terrorist groups into India? People are innocent, but both the political and religious leaders are bastards there.

It's quite contradictory to the fact that the Pakistan is the home for most dangerous terrorist groups in the world. Pakistan has seen a dramatic increase in the scale and number of militant attacks in the last month itself. Hence, how can they see India as more danger to them. As mentioned by Sarika, they are less scared of Taliban, LeT, etc.

There is no any public war but politicians are misguides to us for their own welfare. This game is main income for them and it is endless so they have profit without investment and it grows with 100 time per day.It is proxy war to make India weak into finance and result army expenses.
