personality can be developed by good training. In born quality can only be added advantage. In born quality if it is not properly developed with the help of training it will be of no use.One may have a particular skill or talent by birth but until and unless it is polished and groomed by proper training it will not give the desired result.

Yes, personality can be developed without any inborn qualities. If personalities can not be developed, then there will not be any fine charachtered person available in the world. Inborn qualities are just like untapped resources hidden inside us which will be developed gradually in various stages of our life. From our birth to till we go to school mother will develop our personalities with fine qualities, from school to end of our education teachers, lecturers & professors will develop our pesonalities. Like this in our various stages of our life one or some other person will be the reason in our personality development. In conclusion i can say that Inborn qualities are like limited qualities we bring them along with us from birth where we can extend it upto unlimited qualities of good characters & personalities.

Yes. Definately it can be developed. You are not born with a particular personality. It is the environment and the people around you which makes or breaks your personality. And they only shapes your personality. If there is a no conscious effort on your part it takes its own shape. But the conscious effort can certainly make your personality the way you want it to be.

Agree with you Mr.Janakiram. There are lot of chances/environment are there for changing one's inborn quality. Everything is subjected to change in accordance with the law of changes and time. No one is constant as far as the traits, behavior, and habits etc. But we can appreciate with denoting some special/distinguishing characteristics, that's all. The coin has two sides. Who had written the Ramayan... the Saint Vallmigi.... who was he earlier ? The bad man becomes good and the good man becomes bad.... It is a cyclical change in accordance with situation, needs, and desire.

Personality....... the overall approach of a human being is a very complicated issue. Some people are serious, some funny, others intelligent while some may be foolish but i would say that everyone can build up their personality according to their strengths and weaknesses. Yes lineage does play a part but that does not rises above human effort.

Yes Janaki you are correct about your views in a sense the personality is an ever growing trait of human colour has no role to play. At the same time a good looking face gets an advantage irrespective of personality only at the initial stage. A part of it is inborn quality and rest depends on the environment you are in during childhood and the rest is application. I am in agreement with you on this.

inborn qualities is a must. then it can be improved. if someone does not have any inborn quality that can't be developed in him. yes if someone has some inborn qualities that can be sharpen by training and experience. so friends in my view inborn qualities is a pre-requisite.

The learning happens due to nature and nurture. The person with nature is born and his nature cannot be removed from that persson at anytime. So the personality is emerging from this nature also. ANd teachers can train the child and help him to develop a personlity through nurture. This has limitation. So the inborn capacity of a person in very impportant in the development of the personlaity. So understand this fact and deal with the persons.

Thanks for invite Janaki, yet tend to differ. Personality is a set of inborn qualities and complex attributes. They are impacted by several known and some not yet known features. Outwardly one may be able to bring some change yet like acting is to an artist, the changes that one may try to make are never permanent. It is believed the only language a person speaks in moment of sudden distress is mother tongue while one may have learnt and be using many.

Sorry Janaki, a bit different notion I have to put forward. Whatsoever personality you desire to infuse in an individual, the inborn quality is a must. We can not, totally, disregard it. This is where we need filtering / screening process for personality development. Obviously, a cow has to be a cow only but , we can , outwardly, change its look by colouring, decoration over it. But, basically, it remains as a cow. Thats why, in all personality development program a level of IQ is fixed so that, any further development attributed to the individual gives out a desired outcome. This determinationation of IQ takes into account of inborn qualities. I do not object that there are exception to this. But, far and wide, there is a baseline fixed for personality development. So, I am of the opinion that a baseline quality is required to develop good personalities.Hope you understand a proverb," Call a spade as a spade & not as a tong ".

this question is similar to one asking "will a mango tree bear lemons?" personality is the consolidated effect of ur childhood, ur surroundings, ur family background, your education and for obvious reason our parents. We not inherite propoerties from them we also inherit their qualities both good or bad.

NO... A GOOD PERSONALITY WILL HAVE INBORN QUALITIES ! There is something called GENES... these come from Parentage & Lineage and cannot be acquired or developed. We are talking about a Person's Personality - Physical, Mental & Spiritual. Inborn Qualities reflect a lot on the Personality of any human being. One cannot develop it totally. A small example : when someone says 'Ranbir Kapoor is such a fine actor'... pat comes a reply - WHY NOT ? Look at His Genes & Lineage ( Rishi kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Prithviraj Kapoor, Neetu Singh n so on... ) This kind of Lineage & Genes reflect a lot on development of a Personality.
