You are right Suresh, today's govt. is the worst of all. It is anti common man. The govt. is working as an agent of U.S.Also this govt. is working as an real estate agents in the hands of builders and large sofware MNCs. The corrupt leaders buy a cheaper land at the places where its cost is cheap and then declare this are as software haven and in the name of software development parks. The area becomes costly and they start selling the lands at very high cost. Ideally the land which is not useful for agriculture should be chosen for infrastructure development and opening new ventures but this govt. acquiring the land which is a best agriculture land at very cheap rates and selling it to buiders at higher cost to build townships and roads and turning the innocent farmer youth in to an unemployed lot. This lot eventually starts looting the common men for their livelihood resulting the atmosphere of insecurity. Because their leaders are corrupt therefore the bureaucrats and police is also corrupt and has become a security threat to the common man.now it is prooved that it is corrupt from top to bottom,starting from sonia gandhi,robert vadera,kalmdi,a.raja,karuna nidhi,his son stalin,his relative kalanidi maran,sharad pawar all of them have swiss bank accounts

Poverty is wide spread in india,with the nation estimated to have third of the world's poor. According to world bank estimate. 41.6% of the total indian population falls below the international poverty line of US$ 1.25 a day. Now you ask to this people what do you want? Comanwealth game? Cricket world cup? You will get right answer. As far as recession is concern, There was not major role of UPA government. We have diffrent criteria for the housing loan and mortgage loan than USA. Which keep our economy strong during the period. We can not give marks to goverment on what entertainment and exhibition they did during their tenure. If I try to find the creativity of UPA government, only I can see that scame, corruption, inflation, high price. This is the worst aomng all from 1947.

The present government is a 100% failure, however sugar coated statements people would make they also realise it. Can anyone tell us 1 great job of the government and its positive effect on the Indian society. The worst part being inflation in all the product a human being would ever use in his entire life. Our Democracy has "Four Pillars". Elected Government represents "two pillars" and the remaining two are still Independent - one is Judiciary (Apex court is very tough, and others are a bit lineant) and the select Media is just and many of them are with the corrupt Government, as they enjoy patronage from the Government in many ways to sustain their initiative. Our irony is, we people have lost our voice for less than 50% of the eligible voters in this country elected them to power. Our major fault was many of us did not vote and hence we have crippled ourselves. Anna Hazare will be silenced and he would be forced to play their tune, because, unexpectedly, his demand for joint draft committee was acceded to in order to put a brake to his stampede with people strength! Baba Ramdev is threatening something similar to what Anna ji did. A person who has gone to take control of his personal health would not stand for him in the National Cause! Patriots are those who do not bother about personal health or wealth, but fight for National Cause - that's how we got freedom!

If we talk about UPA the governance is bad but in case of other congress members there are a lot of meritorious guys who can really deliver. The other parties like BJP is really not in a position to run the country including other regional/smaller parties. I think that while blaming the government here we are forgetting the fact that government is a powerful body capable of silencing the investigation agencies, judiciary, and the media. The fact that we are getting exposed to so many corruption cases could be due to the fact that this government has given a free hand to the investigating agencies, judiciary, and the media. I thing that it is for the first time that observations and recommendations of the governance body like SAI and CAG is being looked at seriously and not being brushed under the carpet. If you see too much of corruption it is not necessary that people have suddenly become more corrupt but it could be because there is more light.

Though the government has been underperforming in the areas of containing prices and corruption, they are taking positive action once the corrupt individuals are identified. some of us would say that the political environment is forcing them to take action against them. Malpractices do take place all over the world. what is important is how they are handled. let us hope that slowly things will improve either by intent or due to polical pressure. Additionally awareness among people will put more pressure to ensure clean politics and governance. we cannot blame the PM for all that is happening around us. It would be like blaming the captain of a ship that sinks due to bad weather. A leader as good as his followers.

The non-secular forces are destabilising the present Govt. by focusing the mass attention on minor issues which is not, really, meant for either economic or political developments. Rather, it is showing its true color more to people attracting detest from the Mass. On the economic front, when the world was crunching, it is ,this, govt kept moving without trouble. On the external affairs also, we do not face any set-back. Rather, a rosy picture, Mr Man mohan has built for India. No other Indian leader has done this except Mr. Nehru & Mrs Gandhi. Indian foreign investment & Foreign investment in India ,has never gone down during this regime that we need to take into account. IT industry, even though, Mr. Obama put restriction on Out-sourcing from India, yet , enjoys a comfortable market. Woman reservation bill, 100 days jobs for rural mass, easy Education policy , particularly, Bank loans for the downtrodden to pursue higher education etc etc. We can enumerate many. But, I am not a Congressman to enlist its achievements. Leaving all these, and beating around the bush will only, ache our Hands.

Although the performance of the present Government in centre cannot be called very good, we should not forget that it is the same Manmohan Singh who as Finance Minister opened up the economy as result of which we are enjoying the latest technology which has provided latest cars, cell phones for communication and made our day today life comfortable. It is true that this Goverment could not get rid of old systems, procedures and outdated laws but the negative role played by the opposition is also responsible for that to some extent. Except staging walkouts the opposition especially BJP has not played any constructive role in Governance. Our federal system wherein there is hardly any coordination between the state and central goverment is also one of the factors which is a hinderance to smooth governance.
