Public sector is more secure than private sector although there is large scope of earning money in private but for that we have to put effort for many hours every day. And in public sector we can spend our life happily with our family. And in public sector also we can move ahead.

I would like to prefer private organization, in public sector its like you've stuck there doing the same thing again and again, for how many days can one do the same thing, in private sector there is something new that one will be doing all the time and also the growth prospect is also way much better than public sector jobs, and the salary and perks is really good in private sector, yes one is secure with government job untill the person gets retired, but private sector is much better option at the moment.

i m in support of public sector.Public sector provides far more facilities & peaceful life as compared to private secror. It also givs us a secure future . Pay doesn't matter even if it is less bcoz it provides us more job satisfaction and job security...

Once we feel secure we can still enhance and excel in our field..

Regarding private vs. government pay. Average Government workers now average about $30k per year more than the average private sector job. The Government average job is now $70k vs. $40k private sector. Why should they get bonuses? They're public servants for Gods sake! They don't produce anything and just add the ever growing deficit!

Though the work related challenges and more growth is akin to Private sector, the real challenge is in bringing out a change in Public sector by joining and infusing the new ideas. Red Tape psychology can't be eliminated, at least for some 30 more yrs, but can be reduced to appreciable level! Moreover there are certain jobs which are more challenging than any in Private Sector !!

Yes...I absolutely support this and want to add another fact that in many cases in Public Sector jobs it is seen that a simple thing is getting done in mammoth time and if some person there really wants to do something right he/she will be suppressed.

Though public sector jobs were more secured it will create boredom in some point of time. Private sector jobs were challenging and it gives you motivation to work hard.

Jobs are meant to be challenging. Government Jobs are pure Status Quo and without any chance to improve due to the Red Tape psychology.

Here in Private Sector, what u do is what u get. U deal with some new challenges and one can grow financially as well as mentally. While working in Private Sector, these issues/opportunities are rare.
