its a game of money ..... whichever is lucrative will be appreciated ....producers are right ... if somebody snatch your desired food you will oppose .... no movie will hit during mega show of IPL 3 ... atleast for two months ... and this span is enough to kill the business of bollywood ...

Yes, ofcourse the producers are right to oppose IPL3 in cinema halls. Already the film producers are facing tough situations due to film piracy , release of film videos over internet. They earn only when the people come to cinema halls and see the movies. When IPL3 is released in cinema halls, it is certainly going to affect the movies performance. As majority of us are cricket lovers we would certainly think of going in to the cinema halls to watch the matches.

Yes, because they are not sure if this format of Game that has already put several sports and its own longer formats to slumber can hijack their income source as well.

They are right. This kind of telecast will attract people towards cricket more than movies which will be a great loss for the producers. Since in our country, cricket is more popular than movies, this step will reduce the market of movies.

What happened to the `THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE' i will decide what I want to watch where i want to watch. Tomorrow these producers will say we will only show Kannada or Tamil movies (Which they are trying to do-already done to a extend) then what. Everybody is there to make money, we all struggle/fight to earn money. if one finds success rest are all jealous. They will form associations or rather a MOB and put pressure on you or in other words ask you `HOW ARE YOU EARNING MORE MONEY THAN US'. IF Lalit Modi decides to give them (producers) ROYALTY they all will shut there mouths. You make quality movies and nobody can stop anybody (even IPL) from watching what they like. Low budgets movies with great storyline have earned lot of good money in front of movies who were backed by big companies and big budgets. yet people went and saw those movies. So better you make quality work or anybody, todays its IPL tomorrow there would be HOCKEY, then what you will you do? I WILL WATCH WHAT I WANT TO WATCH AND THAT'S MY RIGHT.... PEACE.
