The company should act in perception of consumer, the consumer pays for quality and he trust on particular product by its quality only, hence the company have to make quality products with the desired goal, with optimum use of scare resources.

Philips crosby -->"Quality is Free" Can anyone fathom the reason why he said that.. Because of the very simple fact that it is really free, but in the long term if u think in short yes you need to invest much in quality control, but once u embed quality into your processes, the production follows the yields increase and every thing seems to be proper. why do companies spend crores in six sigma and all, just for quality because they have understood the fact that quality will eventually lead to production.

Quality is the minimum requirement, quantity comes later. Quantity is for turnover and profit but quality gives recognition in the market. when a product has got recognition among the consumers quantiity would obviously be desired.

Every manufacturing unit aspires to grow big. If they have qualitative products manufactured in large quantity to cater to the demand, nothing wrong in it. If the demand if phenomenal, both quality and quantity will go hand in hand, and no established business house would like to scale down the quality to maximise profit! Otherwise, QUALITY outweighs QUANTITY!

Production of quality is important rather then Quantity, if the quality is not upto the mark, then no point of quantity.

I will vote for production with quality because
Quality control is a process by which entities review the quality of all factors involved in production. This approach places an emphasis on three aspects: 1. Elements such as controls, job management, defined and well managed processes, performance and integrity criteria, and identification of records 2. Competence, such as knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications 3. Soft elements, such as personnel integrity, confidence, organizational culture, motivation, team spirit, and quality relationships.
