When the whole private sector is recruiting B-school graduates and they are getting benefited from this, why PSU banks are not doing so is very tough to understand. Private companies have grown up with these young & talented graduates and they have set-up a new benchmark by achieving their previous records. PSU’s should also give it a try & I’m sure they will also out-perform.

PSU banks must hire B-school grads as the average employee age in PSU banks is very high. Hiring fresh B-school grads will infuse new blood in the system. Infusion of fresh ideas and professionalism by hiring B-school grads will make PSU banks more competitive.

PSUs coming in for Campus Recruitments that also in B-Schools I think this is going to be best news for B-School students. Till now the advantage taken by Private Players is going to be taken by Public Sectors. This will help PSUs to meet the competition and provide an excellent service equivalent to its Private Partners or Competitors. But only one firm taking a step ahead will not make much difference other PSUs should come ahead and help itself to get out of the traditional Public Sector norms, to be best to the people as at the end of the day it is publics own enterprise in quotes "Government Enterprises". Finally I will conclude that the one step taken by SBI will encourage other PSUs to get open for B-Schools directly.

And Rajendra, right man for the right job has to be the idea and not exp v/s "MBA kids" !!! To be honest, I don't have much faith left in most of sarkarrii naurari's but still I want to wish the students and the SBI, all the luck

YES... DESHPANDE... YE DESH KE LIYE ACHCHA HOGA ! A good thought... this can really boost up the level of performance all across the country & get far more well educated youngsters in the Public Sector, which sadly lacks them. ITS TIME... FOR THE SNAKE, TO CHANGE ITS' SKIN !

I would be one of those happiest MBA kids who dreamt of working for SBI.But never appeared for PO because of fear of RESERVATION. Its good news that PSU will consider B-school, but major concern should be that SBI should not only sticks to TOP B-School, because that will result in negligence of other B-school students and payment of heavy salary to those. How about assigning budgets to different regions and Regional head can decide where he/she have to hire from.
