Let's take it like this. Mr. 'X' is running a production unit. To make his pocket go green...Mr 'X' wants to run its unit 24 hrs, 365 days for the fulfillment of targets to satisfy the customer demands.

Here, a situation comes that without any perks or benefits, employes are compelled to carryon with their jobs with no gaps...particularly on holidays like Holi, Deepawali and adding to the list is Gandhi Jayanti, independence Day...coming under govt. holidays.

So, one is left with options like...keep rolling or cut it. Now how can one go with the CUT it! option where the job opportunities are at its bottle-necks.

Situation; Workers- less educated, wage slave. Freshers- No exp. Not much options available, Can't switch to another one. Employes(previously working)- Ab toh aadat si hai mujhko.

"All Work and No Play makes Jack a Dull boy" i.e. working under unsatisfied conditions, hence a decrease in the quality of output is encountered and as a result a bureaucratic decision is taken. Technically speaking... Lay-off or decrease in wages. Anyhow Mr. 'X' should continue taking bath in gold coins.  

Finally, the question arises: How fair enough is it to say... INDIA IS INDEPENDENT !

I don't think so...because the core principle behind an independent nation is still muddied under these quotes...

" APNA KAAM BANTA... BHAAD MEIN JAYE JANTA "

Dear the case you have mentioned is may be possible for short term basis.  But I doubt that people are continuing with such work environment where there is no compensation for working extra. Am I right? Or may be you have given one side of the story and this might have happened or happening  whenever there is a deadline to meet.

There are only two options: ACCEPT or CHANGE

- Change the thing which you cannot ACCEPT.

- Accept the thing which you cannot CHANGE.

No Change... baby,whatever may be the situation 'Have a Ball'
