we are having many who are schooled but very few who are educated. Quality education does not imply getting certificates/degrees only, rather it should make people more understandable of world around them and being able to give them employment. Quality education is missing in the present scenario. It is the need of the hour if we want to take our country at the front of developed nations.

Yes Sarika I agree with your statement but unfortunately ours is a country even if there is a straight line there are people who will look differently and will opine as the line is not straight.

Yes, It is necessary thing. Quality is very important in education and so that we need quality teachers, And for the quality teachers, first we have to become qualified, experts and then give the knowledge to next generation. in hindi there is a sentence "Ghayn Batnse Badhta he" but now most people try to hide their knowledge and go outside of the country, and so we face lack of experts teachers. And if we don't have experts teachers? how can we make one good student and the future teacher?

Its a good slogan for a political party to win the emotions of the people. It wont happen in India. The education has become a costly affair for the common man to pursue. Since the successive Govts. both at the centre and states, failing to provide educational facilities, the private institutions ruling the education sector. They are squeezing the people and the Govt. has become a spectator. Development is confined to 20% of land and people. About 80% of people are left far away from the development. As long as we care for the emotions and failing to assess, the fate of India is not going to change much.

One need to support movements like TEACH FOR INDIA.. and me, being a fellow of TFI.. Request all to contribute towards these movements and instead of talking and giving views should try to implement those views in practical. Enough of debates has been done on quality and equity in education..Its time for some action.. Pull up ur sleeves and start working, It would be gr8 if some young fresh mind come up with more innovative ideas to provide quality education and equal distribution of knowledge among rich-poor communities.
