Marketing is very important for any company or company product. Its brings awareness in the market. Marketing is a virtual process of knocking every door and telling that such a product has released in the market, please go and try it out...this way you can bring the customer to market and provoke him to try out the product. But if he has to buy the product for the second time or if he has to talk good about the product to another person, the product should have a good quality. So I would like to conclude conveying that both marketing and quality are important for any product/service/solution. Marketing can give the initial pull towards the service/product which will give the client some interest to try it out but stability of the service/product remains only if you provide a quality service/product. Of course, quality because marketing is a tool and quality is a product. People buy product, not the tool. Its quality that makes a consumer addicted to a brand. THat's why 'tare jamin per' still cherished, 'tees mar khan' struggles..

I will say, in todays time , we do not have any innovative or monopoly market based product however it is important to distinguish our product from the competitors that comes with only product QUALITY AND more than 100% service satisfaction , and when that thing we market then there is no looking back.........

Here an unclear point is that we are discussing about Sales or marketing as comparison to quality? Marketing is nothing different, It is just "Sales & After Sales Service" process. So, Quality matters for marketing. But for only for sales, we can opt many more techniques to increase the consumption of product in market although whichever the quality of product will.......

Quality is the most important aim of any marketing strategy. Marketing includes products and service designing and hence we cannot separate quality and marketing. Quality is the core requirement of success and marketing ensures that service quality is designed and being marketed precisely.

I think, In beginning, Marketing 100 Quality 0 After 1 month Marketing 90 Quality 100 After 1 year Marketing 50 Quality 100 After 5 year Marketing 10 Quality 100 After 10 year Marketing 0 Quality 100 So, in long term, if Quality is maintained then i think it become legacy which don't require any marketing strategy, people trust on them only based on their quality.

"Customer is the king of Market". As a consumer anyone wants the products which have good quality at lower cost. If a product have good quality then nothing will be required for their publicity. The product is self highlighted on the basis of their Quality.

If we r talking about service then it is quality that matters.Coz quality is what will get us repeat as well as new sales, especially in service industry. In services even today searches and approaches a good quality service provider while in products may be the company has to reach out to customer.

If you want to provide service for a long time than highest priority goes to "Provide and Improve Quality", because it has ability to extend itself with Marketing through people them selves.

firstly i want to say i agree with sentence quality has word of mouth publicity. But!!!is it sufficient if yes BATA shoes and chappals are highest sellerd in india but this not happen.Marketing is somewhat necessary for awarness.i dont want to devide these two thoughts i want to bridge it with this thought marketting is compulsory for awareness and compel the customer to buy atleast once, and quality is a thing to customer should sustain or buying regular.

Marketing is initially essential to make the potential customer(s) aware of the existence of such a service/facility. Quality is necessary for the customers to return for the same service/facility or to continue to use the same on offer. Moreover, the multi-user recommendations are very instrumental in promoting the service

If you are bothered about end result of sales , its marketing that should be given preference to achieve awareness. It does not mean the quality has to be compromised. The point is without marketing a product in a market , the customers will not be able to differentiate between other market offerings.
