Say no the smoking. Quit India movement against smoking is on and the appeal to all the indians is to quit smoking for a better future. We all know the harms of smoking and still people do smoke. As it is an addiction , leaving it can be very difficult. It is the test of your mental strength and will power all togather. So is it that simple to type a pledge, click ok and quit smoking? A person who wants to smoke, will smoke anyway. It depends on the kind of support one gets from the family or friends. If the friends too smoke then quitting becomes even more difficult. Just by a simple web written pledge and a click no one can quit smoking. Though the movement would bring awareness but the results expected may or may not be achieved.

Due to smoking,passive smokers are effecting more....it cause more damage to enviornment.

It is a great chance for all of us , a reason to quit smoking. It is like a motivation because we are suppose to dedicate our act of quitting to our loved ones. 

We all know how harmful smoking is and all the smokers know how difficult is it to quit. But when we are getting a motivation , a reason and a better life by bidding it bye bye why shouldn't we??

Friends the earlier we quit it the better it is and look they are providing us with a platform to say good bye to that harmful smoke.

It will help all who want to help themselves.

A PERSON WHO REALLY WANTS TO QUIT SMOKING DOES NOT NEED TO COME TO A "WEB WRITTEN PLEDGE", AS THE STATUTORY WARNING "CIGARETTE SMOKING IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH" IS WRITTEN ON THE PACK ITSELF.

At the end of the day it is an individual decision against a collective one. Gandhiji was successful with his slogan against the british because he was able to ignite the passions of the majority and used it as a collective appeal rather than an individualistic one. Shunning smokers and making them feel guilty through various means would create a much better effect in this deadly fight.

If the whole nation has to come together to make a person realize that SMOKING IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH, I don't think that person would understand it even then.

It's a choice.

If even after so many campaigns and proven hazardous effects, one cannot give it up, No Quit smoking movement will help.
