Real estate business for investment sake adds to global warming

There are at least 35% buildings which are built for investment purposes or rather used for investment purposes.They are always empty,neither self used nor rented.

There are Commercial complexes and Govt buildings also uninhabited or very thinly populated .

All these make concrete jungle ,congested  localities with air and ventilation problems and wind movement obstructions.

Consider the amount od matrials used which could have been used for buildings for self owning purposes.

Weather the excess infrastructure adds to global warming, it is definitely waste of resources. On the other hand it would hae generated some work for somebody.

As I mentioned in the description I feel we are coverting good land into waste with such infrastructure

I don't think investment building add to gloabl warming. Actually it provides employment to lot of people and improve GDP. As we see migration rate from rural India to urban India is increasing so I don't think these are just Investment building, sooner or later these will be acquired for proper residential purpose.

on the perspective of gloabl warming I think investment buildings is not an issue. If we want to reduce global warming then we have to use different material or think of material that is recyclable to make buildings.

Charles have you gone through my yesterday insight " Your next home will come from printer". If not Please go through it. If we have to reduce global warming then we have to think in different way to make investments in building. We can't stop growth of the country.
