Just two weeks after release, the movie 'What’s Your Raashee' is going to be released on DTH. UTV Motion Pictures has signed up with Tata Sky, Airtel, Dish and Big for a DTH release for Pay Per View audience (PPV) for Rs.75. Even the movie Kaminey has released on DTH, four weeks post the theatrical release which was a great success. After the success of Kaminey, more films are following this path.

Do you see a success for this move, releasing movies on DTH? Share your thoughts guys..

Well i guess any movie on PPV of DTH will do good as its a very good way of promoting movie as well as gain money. Infact movies are getting more benefits than DTH providers through this.

Yes of course, DTH is getting popular among the mass population of India, it not only helps a movie to get promoted very faster but also helps users to watch movies at Rs.75 only. It has high speed and better quality.

I think that this move will be a success as there are millions of DTH subcribers in India. Offering a latest movie for Rs.75 for home viewing will attract more viewers. For a movie like 'What's your Raashee' which didn't do well in the box office can attract more people by this move. So lets wait for more and more movie releases in our home :)
