Yes I agree that religion do not provide true spiritualism , but to follow the path to true spiritualism we have to motivate ourself in that way,so that we can detach slowly from the worldly attraction.There the religion and rituals give us support and show the way to reach the goal of true spiritualism.

In most of our cases, by birth the religion is instilled or bestowed by our elders without our knowledge. Therefore we don't know the authenticity of what is been bestowed on us.

Since Birth, We are in a situation to find answers for the questions which raise with in us like (what is the concept of God, what for the life is, what will be final destination etc...etc..)

So following any religion will not make us spiritual rather seeking the self inwardly alone will answer the question and will track us to the right destination.
