Retail Price Control Mechanism

Really a worthy topic Rathinji after a long time though I had seen this earlier and I wanted to reply. It is too late and still not clear govt will take some action in this regard. What our govt told one week back that inflation will rise for some more time.

I support Mr.Rathin Deb's views. The mechanism for checking & controlling the prices is very vital in order to avoid the public get cheated.

I have developed a habit of shopping in the Wholesale Shop, whenever possible, rather than the retails outlets. This will definitely save me money. But i also feel that this will affect the retailers in a bad way in the long future.

Yes I do agree with you Rathinji, Government use to give the add JAGO GRAHAK JAGO"  they use to work like the oldern days chowikdaar who use to shout JAGTE RAHO  JAGTE RAHO. Whereas this is duly of chowikdaar to wake up and guard. If all the officials are strict and not interested in bribes  it can be checked and prices can be lowered. In Mumbai  Shop keeper use to charge more than MRP and people are paying it simply.  In fact Consumer also should be little active and care taking so to avoid the more payment and lowering of the price. Otherwise he is the looser most.
