I believe routine MBA ( HR ) training is inadequate  , to prepare future managers to be absorbed in the growing healthcare sector. They need to be aware of the nuances and special aspects of this sector. Collaboration and training by experienced health care providers is a good way forward.

I have seen a method in a Corporate Hospital at Hyderabad. For example, the cardio vascular surgery dept's earnings are pooled together (leaving a share to the hospital to run and make profit). This amount is shared by all staff including doctors, nurses, ward boys according to ther seniority and patients handled. It works well.
