Revamping the Domestic Infrastructure: Can it revive the manufacturing industry?

Stone India has announced that the company has received the first bulk order for supply of Air Spring for passenger coaches from Rashtriya Coach Factory, Kapurthala for 123 coach sets. The order is valued at Rs 49 million and aims to revamp our current railway model.

The recently announced 'Duranta Express' will use this new generation pneumatic suspension system which will provide superior air cushion ride for passengers for trains running at a higher speed. Stone India is manufacturing this product under collaboration from Sumitomo Electric Industries, Japan the leading supplier of such products for bullet trains in Japan.

We have had the age old railways system in our country for years together now, and it is definitely time we upgraded the system, we definitely have the manufacturing capabilities to revamp the infrastructure so its the best way to also revive the slumped manufacturing industry
