"Revenue Sharing on Sale" Instead of "Fixed Rental " will be better proposition in coming future for Mall/Off. space owners?

Slowdown in economy & recession factor,there has been huge shortfalls in footfalls and lots of Retailers have either shuts their business in malls or planning to do the same. Since last six months this has been a regular activities happening in malls on pan-india basis.

FOOTFALLS:- is the key factors on which any retailers will like to enjoy & do business and Mall developers had sold there products either using the "Anchor Brand" or "Multi screen cineplex".In past both factor has failed in generating Footfalls.Lots of Branded companis had started fresh negotiation with Mall owners on "revenue sharing Model".

Hence, do feel that Time has come to lease/rent out retail or office space in all Commercial property in pan-india basis?
