RIM to unveil ipad killer "Blackpad": will it really kill ipad??

Ever since Apple iPad tablet proved to be a huge success (at least in the western markets), many companies started working on plans to launch their own tablet. Canadian mobile handset maker Research in Motion too was reported to be working on Apple iPad competitor codenamed - BlackPad.

And this Blackpad will be released in the fourth quarter of this year. We aren't sure if it will be unveiled by the end of the year or early next year. But will it be able to give stiff competition for ipad amid all the controversy that blackberry is facing, where countries are threatening to ban blackberry phones??

I think yes, the tablet market is very huge in west, may not be in India, but in abroad the market is growing day by day, and the tablet segment scene will now turn interesting since Samsung has recently introduced its Galaxy Tab tablet. Before that, Dell Streak with 5-inch display had arrived but didn't quite impress the geeky folks. Now we wait for Asus, Acer and Lenovo to release their versions of tablet. Among all these tablets now the RIM blackpad which hopes to take on Apple ipad. Competition is growing in the tablet market, and Apple if not innovate their ipad, then RIM with its strong R&D could easily takeover Apple ipad.
