Auto industry is seeing a downside.. The real estate prices are sky high..So does this effect the companies which depend on them. Paint cos are one of them. If you have a car then only you will get it painted and same for the house.. Is the paint market seeing a downside due to downside in other markets?

A dent in demand for homes, offices and cars is seen hurting the Paint industry..Car sales in India, which saw a record 30 percent growth in 2010/11, is expected to slacken to 12-15 percent this fiscal year, according to a local industry body as higher interest rates, fuel prices and vehicle costs crimped demand. While property prices are expected to dip in the coming months as inventory continues to pile up while customers stay away.
