It is so hysterical to know that people r now puliczing their views and secrets through television media in return of few bucks.... Why ? Sach ka samna tum kisse kar rahe ho?? Janta se, apne parivar/ dosto se ya phir apne aap se. Zindagi mei kain mod par aisi baatei ho jati hai jisse zaruri nahi k kisse ko bataya jae... Kuch baatei raaz he rahe toh achha hai... Haan agar gunaah kia ho toh mauka mile toh praischit bhi kar lo.. Nahi toh uparwale ko toh hum sab ko hisaab dena hai .....

People with VOYEURISTIC tendency will love this show, but people who value privacy and not make their sudden chance upon TRUTH via such a PUBLIC medium would not like the show! And like everybody knows, its a PAID show... The couples must be getting a chance to understand the implications and then participate just to WIN money!! I would like to know if the MONEY is taken away then would the so called TRUTHFUL people be happy to wash their firty linen in PUBLIC?? Would there be a show at all?? There is an incentive for people to participate and declare their gory lives openly... take the INCENTIVE away and then that would be SACH KA SAAMNA!!

A programme which really earned a huge popularity by providing something which is having materials or content of people's personal life's secret or some wrong doings ,confessions and it is being aired to teach nothing to any one. It gives rather wrong signals and will lead to misguide our youth and teens . People used to waste time infront of Idiot box for this nonsense things to see how a person is being humiliated through certain things in his/her life which should n't be disclosed publicly.

Everybody knows it's another stunt by media to promote something different. Thou as always, this is also copied..
It seems, that people who want to get divorce or want to get rid of current life and want to dramatized: are taking BOLD steps to answer such questions, which they knew have a YES answer and also for those who have NO will felt like YES anyway... It's like a culprit being accused of admitting his crimes, just for the sake of getting rid of present life situations.. It's individual choice thou.. but still I feel this is another Stupid serial who tends to raise TRP just because ppl in India love to peep into other's life..! And media is making effective use of it.. ! 3 cheers to Media.. ! But it's pure non-sense.. nothing productive for anyone, except channel guys!

This kinda programme needs to be removed from TV, we are pretty facinated of Aping others . This is a complete Hindi version of (The Moment of Truth ) which is an American game show based on the Colombian Nada más que la verdad format ("Nothing More than the Truth"). Contestants answer a series of 21 increasingly personal and embarrassing questions to receive cash prizes.) Why not to innovate some new concepts of earning TRP rather than aping others to emulate their programme in our country. MORE OF THE PERSONAL QUESTIONS ASKED TO COUPLES WHICH DISTURBS THEIR MARITAL LIFE AND CREATE A CONFLICT IN CONJUGAL LIFE .

Sach ka Samana is in fact the most jootha show running on prime time all over the country. If these ppl r or any of the viewers or any of these guys posting counter arguments r so interested in upholding the truth, how about coming clean about their own agenda for a change. The channel is fooling the whole country for its dirty TRP war and those fools coming and speak their deepest, darkest secrets just for a few rupees just reflects how cheap and conscienceless indians have now become. If u care for the truth, begin at home, encourage children to be truth ful, honest, practice what u preach, stop and fight corruption whether at home, in the neighbourhood, in the office, in society. India will be a much much better place to live in if only all these dumb participant and their equally dumb supporters had to guts to be truthful in their private lives in the first place, instead of committing such sickeing deeds and having the gall to dish it out to hapless viewers in the name of Truth !!

Moulik Why do you unilaterally presume that people on the left side of the divide would not accept new things? The fact that they are responding to your argument is that your argument is registered in their minds. It's just that the new thought is being examined through one's level of rationality and reason. Similarly my point on drugs(dope) went through an analysis from your faculties of reason and logic. Do I register my displeasure and declare you insane for not accepting my argument? i don't think that would be wise at all. Albeit, carrying the discussion forward: Even in the case of drugs, not all drugs are allowed to be sold over the counter. Just like a doctor intervenes in these cases, couldn't a specialist panel( self-regulated by the media) clear such programs before being broadcasted.

"Ya this show should be banned". The concept of the show is too advanced not only for Indians but also for western cultures too. In US a similar show with same format was released on air but with in short span of time the show was banned in US, as it resulted in disputes in the personal life and lead to divorce after the show. Probably this show reveals someone's personal issue just for the sake of TRP. They sensationalise the show and try to reveal such indepth secrets of someone's life so that people get attracted towards it. But I think this is not a healthy show for our culture. As this raises disputes with in the family too. No matter how westernised we get in our thinking and living but we cannot westernise our thoughts at the sake of our family life.

Mr. Maoulik Shah This is a professional network. Please mind your your language on this podium. Comment against the argument, not the person. Not everything that can be sold must be sold.how about drugs? There's a huge potential here.People who want a dope can buy it.people who don't want must not buy it. will you buy that argument? i know the answer is NO. Also don't forget that children who get exposed to such shows may get inordinately thrown away from the moral unit of our culture- the family! I don't have any complaints against theming a show on this basis, but they sure forgot to do their homework in naturalizing it.It's a copy/paste creativity bypassing quick buck attempt. Mr. Mehta If you throw money, some people will even do a strip tease on television. They will do so on their own will. are you game for this one too??

" After naming the show as a reality game show, do you really think that it is not been manipulated to generate revenues, can you really have any documentary or clippings which can prove that it is all not artificially created to generate huge profits. can you really prove that the participants are not the actors playing a role for the reality game show ?"... Does this question really merit an answer after answering it in the question itself??? If these people are actors then the TV channel under the name of REALITY is cheating the audiences and I think that is even a bigger reason for the show to be banned completely!!

Is valuing courage the only value that Indian culture has taught?? I believe NOT. And the show has an incentive... MONEY. I ask to remove the incentive and then lets see the courage of the people in facing these questions where morals are challenged, sanctity of human values (marriage, vows, responsibility towards children etc) and the belief that we get together in a place of prayers or worship is just a farce that people carry and do what they please??? Is that the moral that any culture around the globe teaches?? Its such a sham and definitely KINKY to listen to and witness breakdowns on a TV show between a family that is being torn to shred with questions that really try your patience. All because of MONEY!!. I would be more interested in what happens to the family after the candidte gets off the hot seat and heads home with his family.... Thats would for me be the real SACH KA SAMNAA!!

Nobody can stop kinks of people! If there are some guys out there who get a kick out of someones life and get an or***m... Its kinky! If the expose was so important, why pay money?? Why cant it be a show without an incentive?? Will people come forward just to cleanse their soul and get rid of the cobwebs if there was NO MONEY involved?? Its a matter of MONEY and thats it... TRP's or not.. as long as people get a kick out of it nd money, the show will run. And as for the health of the minds of people, I guess we are not Americans who live their life with out real emotions at all!! Thats why they have a very healthy DIVORCE rate, their children are more into shady dealings rather than serious studies and that is obviously the reason why Obama stresses that India and China are a challenge to Americans and hence a huge spend on education programs in US of A!! Its a SHAM!

I feel this programme should be stopped immediately. The reasons : 1.There is no entertainment quotient. 2. There is no knowledge, no ideology, nothing!!! 3.They are selecting people, who are known faces to public, but overall failure in their respective career and much short of celebrity status. 4.That "sach" of which we have to do "saamna" is based on illicit relations. What to do of such a "sach". 5.The total format is very disgusting..... Do not know whether it will be banned or not, but I have immediately banned it in our Drawing Room.

The first thing that came to my mind was 'Will it survive in india'? And now the controversy gives answer to it. The program doesn't scribe to Indian culture, the participants are asked too personal questions. What makes me more surprised is the controversy being discussed in parliament.
Any thing copied from the US media does not mean that it will get respect from the local culture and tradition. As an Indian we need to promote morality not glamorize stupid decisions made by famous regular joes. What message is this show sending that morality is dead but what can we say, everyone care about is controversy & not good programming.
But the critical thing what we should discuss is: Is self regulation enough or do TV channels need the I-B ministry to bring them to heels? OR Do we need a separate regulatory body for TV content?
And at last I am not very comfortable that kids are watching this show.......

Well if Indian Television comes up with something new in the industry people tend to complain a lot! I guess people just stay ready to complain anytime any moment. Why don't they think of others who love the particular program. I feel people whose stories are somewhat similar to what is shown in the program gets disturb by it and they are the ones who complain about such kind of things. Therefore, it should not have been banned.

I think for people who are participating if they don't have a problem in appearing for truth...why should others?...there have been 20000 registrations before this show started and more people are willing to participate. I don't think they don't know what program is all about but still they are participating. But its a pity that people today are speaking truth to gain a handsome amount of money and not for the sake of truth itself.

If we are talking bout what we are learning from this program than we should check all the programs that we watch on TV and after deep analysis we would find that 90% program are just for fun no learning part in it. The reason i am in support of this program is that this show gives us something to think bout, we can relate to this show, we can take a look inside the deepest and darkest corners of our heart and try not to do things in future that if reveled would hurt the people who love us. I will never dare to be on that hot seat but i would try change somethings in future, somethings that might hurt my loved ones if reveled, and moreover this show is not telecasted on primetime so if you don't like to watch it just change the channel no need to ban it.

There is no need to ban or stop the show. After all it is showing, or should we say, exposing the truth of our society. We have grown up with the saying that 'sahitya samaj ka darpan hai'. The stories of Manto during the period of our partition days was also a bitter truth. It is true that directly we only see a person's private life 'thread bare' in the show, but if we dare to see in the hind sight it gives message to all of us.

HI, There are no reasons to ban this show. If we are talking about the questions asked in the show then they are just asking about their lives. Moreover, people want to tell about their lives in front of camera. Channel or the makers of Sach Ka Samna are not pressurizing anybody to participate. If the participants are comfortable about sharing their secrets then why are others making hype off this? It’s an individual choice to reveal the secrets about their life and if somebody's finding it hard to digest then please don't watch the programme. This programme is much better then many other realities show where celebrity participants are doing anything to earn money and publicity. Here at least participant are truthful and accepting the truth in front of whole world. And it needs guts. SO, there’s no point of stopping the telecast of the programme. Regards, Rohini.

When people sell out there self to earn then what the hell is this kinda story tale "Sach ka samana", if you will understand one's necessity then its just a earning medium for them... People who sell out themself even when they feel gulity then its the dead end....despite this what ever is the way to earn is comparitivly better. Exploitation will only have a end now when it will be published among the crowd and one will really think of making a dot somewhere, everyday it happens in lots of ways somehow its all hidden...

No body has free time, why anybody would come to show for free and promoting "sach ka samana", its all very much commercial, everybody is earning out of it...thts it, if you take out incentives then it would become a church where people do go and have there confessions. The world is all about give n take...nothing is free....

There is nothing so called VULGAR in the program as nothing obscene is showned as many other reality shows do. And the basic concept is very clear and should be appriciated, 'coz the idea is just to bring the truth in front. As far as the scene created in the parliament is concerned, we all know our politicians, whenever the question of Truth or Confession arises, they behave like this only. Infact, these ppl should be called by the HOST.

THe programme hs been rated success with a TRP of 4.5 & had also resulted in Star Plus regaining No 1 slot from Colours in first week of July. what i dont understand is if there are so many concerns ( & if it has to be banned) regarding the format how come it able to get such high viewership. And if it gets such good TRP then what's wrong is showing what people want to see. Star Plus is an entertainment channel & its being truthful to its policy.

If a person telling truth dont have problem If a person listnening truth dont have problem then who is HIGH COURT to put a ban on it . India is free country, citizens have right to speak, hear and express their point of view. When kambli been asked that question"he ever asked any woment for abortion?" he only said Yes din took any lady name when he dont have any problem, his wife dont have any problem then why... then why others are scratching this topic. First of all look in your heart how many lies we are hiding and start respecting someone who have guts enough to stand up speak the "TRUTH" and about the money stuff . If there wont be any money in the show then neither the supporter nor opposer would had saw the show for once even. You have to pay "celebrity" price for being his/him celebrity. Atlast this is again one more generation VOID in understanding 21 century

when people choose to face the truth, they should be allowed. the people being questioned know the consequences. inspite of that they agreed to do so. there is nothing unethical to make so hell out of it & stop the show.

The polygraph tests for the show is done beforehand wherein 50 questions are asked & 21 questions are chosen from them for the show. so the participant knows all the possible questions & he also is given ample opportunity to opt out at any point during the show. Also note that the participant had taken part because he willfully wanted to face the truth & convey the same. I think it will be right platform to put all the politicians to test hence the apprehension.

The way of writing also has got a influence, that you might not understand the insights, but it is to make a change where normal scipts will fail and wont be able to shake up the person who has almost stopped themselves to accept new things. Life is always not being so simple and straigjt, sometimes u need some twist or else ur surrounding will not be able to enjoi you in the whole lifetime. The catching of words also has started from you, when u picked up my earlier conversation and failed to understand the synergy between Ques. and Ans. Join some further studies with youngsters then you will enjoi more ! hopefully you will get the required updates in you. Knowing some words is not enough, try to learn where to fit it.

Raturiiii, The next generation will not understand you and will also not understand anything to respect your ideas, the thing is they are very very very professional, which im pointing out to you only, that ur not a professional one. The reason behind is, you might be able for domestic markets, but internationally you dont stand anywhere with ur so called professionalism which does not even understands media and go on comparing it with culture. DRUGS ? Very intresting...Do you know even that ur daily routine intakes also contains one or another chemicals (part of sum drug) from the morning you wake up ending up in ur bed, just try to leave any of ur practices, the answer is NO, you wont be able to , even if you try you will face such situations which will force you to take it as soon as possible. Tell you something you people are baseless, and even are several issues which we all tried to highlight, you people are still on one line of culture and will end up with that only, biggest thing is that you people will never be able to cope up with the change. When childrens at ur home is exposed to T.V with cabled channels is also a part of moderated situation out of culture, better have DD1 n DD2 only or even more better go for a RADIO only (fantastic Yes), NO T.V, no star movies, no cartoons, no MTV, FTV, NO V TV...lots of regional channels too showing nudity my frnd...better cut off the cable lines if ur not able to control ur family and childrens....iiii. COOL GUYS...CHILL PILL...I WOULD SUGGEST THAT PUT UP A LINE BEFORE SHOW....EVEN IT WILL COST ALOT BUT FOR ALL MAD PPL OUT THERE... CHILDRENS, MEN LIKE WOMENS & WOMEN LIKE MAN ARE REQUESTED NOT TO WATCH THIS SHOW OR IT MAY HURT THEM N MAKE THEM REACT OPPOSITE BEHAVIOR WISE (BASICALLY WHICH IS REUIRED). JAY HO......riiiiiiiiiii

Firstly, the channel is not calling anyone, people in the greed of money are coming in this event. They know the game and rules very well, still they want to sit on the 'Hot Seat'.......Secondly, if you are so much ashamed of this programme, then remote is in your hand- change the channel. As far as the leaders are concerned, there are a million of other issues which are of more importance than this. They should have concentrated on those.....most of these hypocrites are ready to watch if a woman sheds her clothes and dances. Censor board gives all the permission to such scenes, includes violence also....Shouldn't that be banned?......Whereas, this show is all about courage of facing and telling the truth, it should not be banned. Those who have problem should avoid themselves and their children to view this programme. this my opinion and after all viewers can get the legal knowledge out of it and no doubt it is a matter of other privacy but the person him or her self have no objection to declare is own personal things than other should not be interfere in it. bakul mehta from rajkot

The answer within question was for all the fools who cannot think the media limits and broad concepts...it was given because the concept does not falls at any other point where it cannot make any end, i was here to make a final solution to an end but not to fight and play within words....its something cheapest you did it within a debate..you should first go and learn about etiquettes and culture of debate too.
If you really dare, come up and show ur involvment in removing prostitution..CAN YOU ?
Bloody hell, when persons being in sales will not be able to sell the product then they are not in perfect place , if i will be your boss then today itself i will give you a termination letter. 1st strategy after the product has been produced is supposed to be sold but nothing to discourage...thts hardcore sales... or keep and make a dead stock of it...
My dear friend, tel me few things, can you organize a show, can you think of its investment, can you really come up with legal points of registration to put the show on air, i know the answer will be NO from you so let me tel you, ur just wasting everybody's time and nothing else, First of all i request everybody, pls put a vote of BAN on this gentleman, he is talking all non-sense. If you cannot beat the competition then better JOIN it and continue being there.... unless u wil always see urself out of market with ur products...coz of ur attitude... CHANGE IS GOOD (YE BAN WO BAN ....PEOPLE LIKE YOU ONLY DO SUICIDES...R U AWARE OF IT ? )

No it should not be. This program has made me to realise that although I thought that I am truthful to myself but I was wrong. But certainly the topics on which the exploration of truth is attempted must be more varied and broad. From the episodes which I saw and also what the excerpts which they show in program's promotions, it seems that sex and related matter are their favourite subject.

i dont think it should be benned bacause of any political party / person.it is about volunteerly taking part of individuals in such programms, no one is forced to take part in it. i wonder the person taking part in such programm has no issues but everyone else has. and about the political / social leaders i would like to remind them that there are so many issues to think about in india instead of this.recently one girl has been molested in public in patna girls are getting raped ,on such issues why this social leaders are not taking any serious actions. i really want to advise them to do some meaning full work.

it is good to see the participation and our concern on issues like these...i only have to add to what m/s kiran and mandeep has very well said..when inflation reached 12.75 pc there was no uproar in parliament…when our intelligence warns government of possible terrorist attacks like 26th Nov on Mumbai there is no uproar in parliament..when students are beaten like animals because they come to other states for appearing in competitive exams there is no uproar in parliament…when there is problem of social security and unemployment there is no uproar in parliament… But when a TV programme like “Sach ka Samna” appears on a channel there happens to be uproar in parliament…… I believe it is high time the government should take up important issues rather than fighting on reality show and the opposition should also raise this issue on behalf of public.
