Yes sachin has shown a fine example by not endorsing. Liquor definitely spoils the society sooner or later.The worst part is that our indian governments are endorsing it by giving lisence and allowing the people to consume legally.At least it is good to see such kind of personality stand tall and loud if they can motivate some people away from liquor.

For any company there is need of Marketing but now adays there is overdose of it. I dont think that there is need of these kinds of ads because people buy what they want they are choosy of any kind of Material.....They cant buy if any celebrity add the product........

This news item generated more eyeballs for the product, much more than the endorsement would have really generated! They achieved their target without paying a penny! Liquor barons sponsor all sorts of sports - sports are meant for healthy personalities and are supposed to be health-conscious people! These people fuel the young minds too fast, therefore, advertisement of any substance that leads to degeneration of health, as a conscious citizen of this country, should avoid,a Sachin did! Dhoni is in a hurry, as his position is always in danger,a every cricketer in India is firing, creating a lasting impression - Gambhir is the glaring example!

Its good to see Sachin breaking the record ever. But is there a need to spend such huge amounts on endorsements. Companies are wasting money big time. Can utilize it in a better way is my opinion....  Share you thoughts too....

i think celebrity endorsement is not a waste of money until the product/ service is compatible with the celebrity. i could not find it relevance when mannapuram Gold has endorsed akshay kumar to promote its financial product. at the same time LUX is the best example of celebrity endorsement. today the market is very much cluttered, so celebrities are the best means of enhancing brand recall.

very correct sachin is one of the great personalities of the world sachin has done a great job .and i do'nt think so companies are wasting their money because without creating an image of the product in the eyes of the customer company cannot do successful marketing

They have a great job advertising themselves by advertising Sachin's unwillingness to endorse their product And deary don't u think Sachin has also done a great job branding himself through this one action?
