As you can see, Microsoft is seeking more than just an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) expert, but I always enjoy seeing these mentions from large companies like Microsoft. It only helps to validate the industry, despite the constant negative image SEO is given in the media time-and-time again. Additionally, it just goes to show that even a company the size of Microsoft with a Web site the size of microsoft.com can’t just rest on their laurels. While SEO can help people gain an unfair advantage, it can also help to level the playing field between one-man operations and corporate giants. It’s all in how one applies it that makes the difference.

I never agree with anyone..... Coz SEO is totally independent ... There is no need for a search Analyst to depend on anyone. .. where as a software engineer, must depend on company.......He must go with the company....

And i dont know exactly what is the  Scope will india. ... But i can say there wont b any salary prob. if your a good SEO guy people will come to you with their websites.. Paying you more..... 

And this does not needs group work.. IF you have industrial experience and if your are good enough to handle clients . Why dont you take up your Own Projects. 

And i am sure a well versed guy can get atleat 20,000 bucks for a single site by giving only two days effect.

Sorry to say this , in my opinion. SEO in india is not known properly to lot of people. Thats very sad.. ... Part.... So I will say this is not the right option... 

Salary Prob, .. There is no such thing..... And salary is totally Nonsense...... 

In india SEO is totally different, .. I dont wanna talk about that :)

SEO has been there in India for the past decade and grown exponentially. We at Netadwise are in SEO business almost all along in India. Though SEO is more rampant in the UK, the Indian market has its strong footprints and is growing at a very fast pace. All the big names in IT and non-IT have their own SEO organizations trying to establish their presence, both local, global or simply internet presence. In India, the future for SEO is promising as the internet is getting more and more integrated with individual and corporate lives for speed, time and reliable services.
