Even if we de-link terrorism related matters, the security guard has almost become a non-avoidable part of our day-to-day chores. They stamp the bills on exit from retail outlets, ATM's are guarded by them, many offices reception or front desk is operated by guards, counting & re-checking at receipt or issuance of goods are only by security guards, main gate mgmt of apartment&commercial complexes, valet parking, frisking.. are very few to mention... But are their real potential being brought out? Feel very positively that many gaps which are existing in couple of domains where they are involved can be addressed immediately with right cost if correct empowerment & engagement are planned & executed.....
