This debate is regarding the donations given by parents to a school so that their ward gets admission there. I am a bit confused...whether it is corruption in school administration or it is corruption well supported by the parents... whom to blame. Corruption starts at age of 5 when a child along with parents go to a school for admission. Parents pay huge money to the school management (as donation) to secure a seat for their ward. So, the first message which goes to the little child's mind is...pay money and get what you want. Money wins over morality. Parents think that they have executed their duty by getting their ward admitted in a good school (by hook or by crook--it doesn't matter), but actually are they aware that what message they are giving to their child. parents play a great role in development of a child's thinking and mentality. Then are they not sowing the seeds of corruption. But again if they don't pay the money their ward will not get admission to a good school. What should the parents do...pay or not. Probably this debate will end when we get a proper solution to this situation.
