I will go for Skoda Laura(Sedan) or Mahindra Scorpio(SUV) !!

The bigger a car is, the more fuel it will consume. The smaller the car is, the less fuel it will consume. So, keeping in mind the current problems of the society, I believe NANO would be a better choice...

The Ideal car for a middle class should have high ground clearence, low on maintenance, low cost, good resale value, spacious cabin space, decent carriage space, good mileage, should be crash tested, good visibility ( no blank spots), good warranty schemes & good service network setup.

For middle class family,nano is the currently the fittest one.but for above middle class available one is INDIGO latest model,which has engine at some higher level,to provide more clearance.

Both are TATA make.

My suggestion - Maruti WagonR with factory fit GAS cum Petrol is viable choice for those who wants mileage, compact 2+2.

In fact Maruti and Tata has models to fit requirement of all the economy class of society.

I personally own Maruti SX4 and happy with it.

I will go with Maruti cars any time but right now in compact cars I will prefer Zen.

I have a Maruti Zen with me that has really served me nd my wallet very well!! I believe anything from the Maruti srable would be GOOD only!! :))

I have my sights set up on The Grand VITARA which looks like magic on wheels to me. But I guess it is sometime before I can lay my hands on it!! :)

I would prefer anything from Maruti suzuki because its the best for indian roads wheteher its fuel efficency , cost of maintenance , comfort and even good RESALE value also.
