When we talk of quality,it suggests comparison with the product used in the past. The people like tested one  even at second time choice. As a Matter of fact ,the product right from concept to the finished and then to the scrape yard amply demonstrates its characteristic either of its utility, appearance, texture, replacement of spares and after sales services. These actions and pro actions leave lasting impression on the end users. I am therefore of the opinion that multiplex attributes attract the consumers rather than warranted utility.

Do you have a different opinion?,kindly express frankly.

I am of the opinion the quality means durability, utility and after sales services and top of it texture and appearance.

Yes Bakshji, You summarised it so nicely. Ultimate aim of Quality whether it is service, production or on sales etc is CUSTOMER SATISFATION in which all points mentioned on this side can be included. Thanks for debate.

Baksh sahab you have said everything and left nothin to be said on other side.

To define quality is like defining truth which changes according to context. But the best way to understand quality, as a common consumer, is w.r.t. fullfillment of need. But then who will deny the looks and packaging if available in same price or in a price he/she can pay?
