Why are we streching Mrs Sonia Gandhi into tis. She should be punished for sure but for her own acts and not for this one. PM has done a lot of wrong thing sand he too has to be punished because having the power and not using it is useless...

Manmohan is the most Corrupt PM of India till date, A honest person can't work like a puppet, Why he is so loyal to FAKE SONIA (AND HER FAMILY) rather than our country

Scams Like CWG, 2G & many others held in his regime, certainly he is not a honest person.

He is Nor a Leader, Nor a Pleader, Nor a Reader & Nor an Orator..... What Qualities he has except Corruption.....

What Education he has, if he appears for any Qualifying Exams Like CAT / MAT etc... he will simply fail....

Regardless of whatever anyone may claim both must bear the blame for dereliction of duty to nation. To disagree, can at best be construed as failure of responsibility towards nation and its people.

If they claim they were not aware then the count is failure in governance while if they were in the know it is simple act of encouraging corruption.

The choices are very clear, hiding behind procedures etc. can not convert dishonest to honest one must understand.

who else? It is Sonia & Manmohan Singh is responsible for all the mess negligence, omission & commission in proper implementation of rule thereby maintain constant Checks & Balance on part of their ministers & bureaucrats.

Ajay See the timing that Sonia has set her treatment/operation schedule. It is not an emergency case she anticipated the embarrassment to the govt. and to her for supporting the Kalmadi for chairmanship gave him a free run with uncontrolled finance power. Where all of CWG money gone?

It is not the first time she is leaving the country whenever there is a breakout of major scams especially pertaining to congress party. This Puppet PM who does not have any self respect & a silent spectator for all these acts. Whats the use of his education it is just like degrees marked on Thermometer, having no value. He must be firm & quit as it is too late to take corrective action.

We want a PM, who is active, with Open Eyes, Ears & Mouth not like 3 Monkeys of Gandhi

We want a PM who is ready to take responsibility of Everything rather than a Person, who tries to prove himself ignorant, ill informed & always trying to find Excuses.....

We don't need a Puppet, who is Loyal to a Family only rather than our Country

Definitely yes. Caesar's wife too has to be above board. The PM and the Super PM cannot be absolved of their sins of omission and commission, even if it is more of omission and less of commission. They can't take the line: Look I am honest, but I can't speak of others. If the team under performs or flops, MSD cannot escape blame even if he personally scores a century in a losing cause. The BJP and the Left parties tried to haul the UPA government over hot coals on the corruption issue, but they failed. The reason why Anna Hazare was lapped up by the people and his campaign brought the government on its knees is solely because he himself is perceived as Mr Clean and apolitical. That raises Anna's acceptability quotient miles higher than the discredited loose canons among the Opposition. Thanks Mr Rohit Thakur for the referral.

If you rob and pay hospital bills, you will have to be punished. But what about the so called gentleman who while presiding over the Cabinet keeps silent and pleads helplessness, when one of his colleagues robs the society. And the Chairperson of UPA, elected by all parties and acting like a superpower keeps mum, where can we go ? Without the intervention of Supreme Court, will 2G Raja ever be arrested ?

Dear Rathin Debji,

Tell me, if I rob someone to pay mother's hospital bills, is it acceptable? You cannot make your helplessness a reason to be a partner in the wrong doings. If I rob one person pretending my helplessness, I affect his life only. But when the national wealth is on stake, think about hundred millions of people. So with whom your sympathy goes now? Decide honestly.

Sitting on top seat, you can't say not aware of facts, if ignoring the facts just to protect the government in parliament, is also a type of Crime, either indirectly or unintentionally, you can't run away from your duties.

Yes Swapna both Sonia & Manmohan singh should be held responsible & deserve punishment. One is for lenient on her ministers & coalition partners like NCP & DMK just to stay in power allowed them to involve in huge/rampant corruption & turned blind eye on their act.

PM is just acting as puppet & doing only duty to protect PM's chair for Rahul Gandhi. If he has got sense of shame he should have resigned long back.

A minister is in jail? Are you still looking at it as a positive movement? When 3-4 cases have resurfaced, lots many could be under the wrap. Do you think if someone is soft spoken he could be allowed to go so many things under his leadership? PM and Sonia both play important roles in picking the ministers. There should be accountability of the positions on the basis of a corporate model. Or will you still wait to someone label charges against the duo before you can raise your voice?

Not may be. They are certainly responsible. Now the question of proving something against people who are into power is really tricky. Do you remember how many politicians have ever been convicted? But still, we should not restrict ourselves from raising voice against the wrong deeds of someone.

Both of them should be criticized for this present scenario the nation is undergoing in the recent times. PM is directly responsible for keeping mum and not acting in most of the times. But one should not forget Sonia's influence on the government. Though constitutionally she cannot be held responsible for the acts of these ministers but can you undermine her role in selecting the GoM? No way. She plays a decisive role in all the affairs of the government in a pseudo manner. Open your eyes and dare to see the truth.

Should both Sonia and PM, Manmohan Singh be held responsible for the rampaging corruption?

Sonia Gandhi is at the helm of affairs in the ruling UPA since 2004. As chairperson, can’t she be held responsible for the rampaging corruption in the country? While Manmohan Singh is the prime minister of the nation during the same period.

The UPA I and UPA II has seen some of the worst instances of corruption in the history of independent India, be it carried out by their ministerial colleagues or bureaucrats working under the umbrella of the government. Some of the shameless incidents include One lakh 76 thousand crore 2G scam, 70 thousand crore CWG scam, Kargil for profit, Adarsh land scam, Medical Council of India run recognition scam, Nalco bribery case, Railway recruitment scam, and Sukhna land scam.

As both Sonia and Manmohan Singh are at the helm of affairs in the governemnt, I would like to held both of them equally responsible for the acts of sins  either conducted by their rogue, shameless colleagues/ministers/MPs or bureaucrats. If there is a problem, there is a solution too, had these napping bigwigs shown resolve to eradicate corruption, the picture would have been absolutely different. Both PM, Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gndhia are responsible for the rampaging corruption across the country.
Nobody knows where does the buck stop in this country? For all good things, too many ministers, bureaucrats plunge to take credit, while for mess up, they pass the buck to other people or department. This is not democracy, this is kleptocracy (government of the rogues, thieves, corrupts, sinners and cowards).

Manmohan Singh, yes. Because of "The buck stops at my desk" policy. But Sonia? She is not part of the Government. She is only a president of Congress Party (which is not a Government post).

1. Why she went to USA for her treatment

2. why she tried to hide her Ailment

3. Aids or Cancer, why she has no Trust in India

4. So, Why we Indians should Trust her

The way Sonia & all congressmen were hiding her Ailment, I thought it was AIDS, but if it is Cancer then why so much of hiding...... It is very common now-a-days........

Still, I can hardly believe Fake Sonia (Antonio Maino) & all Congressmen for the simple reason

1. Controversy about her Date of Birth

2. Controversy about her Birth Place

3. Controversy about her Dual Citizenship

4. Controversy about her Education - she is not even High School

5. Controversy about her Job in England

6. Controversy about her relations with Rajiv

7. Controversy about her Swiss Accounts

8. Controversy about her Passport

9. Everything about Fake Sonia Gandhi (Antonio Maino) is doubtful

I wonder people like Raja took permission from the Party presient and prime minister of India to go for 2G spectrum Scam, but I do agree that being the leaders of their Cabinet ministers, it was their duty to monitor their work and progress, But i dont blame 100% to PM and Party prident for that, thay are responsible but partially! Its a leadership faliure, they r not the one who acted this.

Arnav  when the government is dependent on many parties to form majority to form the government ,the hands of the ruling party is tight. If anybody from the ruling party found to be a scam star he or she should be dispensed with and I believe that is being done.

No and its a paradox. If not, then we actually deserve a PM like Mayawati. UP is least corrupt and crime is low there. Consider a PM who would have instead actually used his powers to cover it up all, to deny everything, like an able politician do. Consider Sonia replacing the PM to save her own skin. We are for the first time in the history of this nation talking sense. We used to joke about someone getting favors because of his proximity to a politician but would have never seen the politician minister getting caught and being sent to jail. If we have people being brought to justice, we should congratulate the Govt. and the coalition politics which have made the Govt. sensitive and answerable for corruption.

Neelima I dont agree with you at all. Yes the prime minister is a soft spoken man but the steps that are taken now like have you heard inyour life time a minister is inside the jail? Things started happening and will happen for the better. we are looking forward to Lokpal Bill since 1967 finally it is coming. Though Anna is the force but his move has not been stalled this time.

Regarding Sonia Gandhi I dont know the details of any corruption. You may elaborate on it. Thanks Swapna for referral. I am in this side since I firmly believe Dr. Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi are much above all this.
