this is the classic example of behaviour of a diplomat and a politician in our country.Tharoor basically a diplomat still has to learn a lot on how to behave like a politician.one should not forget even a diplomat will be working under a politican and cannot act as he likes.coming to Congress party which is known for "use and throw" policy, certainly has taken an expected step by sending Tharoor when party image is at stake.

Bourocrats, technocrats, professionals etc. aspire to hold a high office in politics and in Govt. Some of us believe that they may become 'most' successful even though they have had no idea about India, Indian citizens and her heritages and cultures. ( here a good portion of people do not get square meal a day ). We have got an unique 'educated' man as Minister of GOI who has good exposure in USA and political culture of that country. But ... this is India, a great civilisation created even before USA was born. Mr Tharoor is now a good subject of discussion here in India and her political circle ... less elaborated ...less better. He might take a 'vacation' from (Indian) politics .. say for one year and join an IPL cricket team to gurner fame, glamour, money and .. if possible .. a brand new Girl Friend for himself.

From the comment he has made i think Tharoor is not suitable for Serving India. India has 70 % farmers -All cattle class for him.If his objective is not to serve(or shall we say "solidarity'), the farmers interests which is majority in Indiathen let him look elsewhere as a business man/or anything and be what he is.NO COMPULSIONS. He is into politics only because he could not be in the UN sec gen chair.he is man not cut for serving Indias MAsses."What he has said in the moment is what he thinks" And that says it All

right as there are many other issues which need spotlight rather than such statement oriented news.Being a politician he should have been responsible and politically correct while expressing his views like this and for making him understand we can not ignore other important issues.

I agree with Mr. Tharur's controversial statement evevn if I feel Congress should take action against. For, Mr. Tharur expressed the collective feeling of those creamy layer who are priviledged to travel by Business class since long and as a political party, Congress has to appear a federation of austere people. But, Mr. Tharur should realize that now he represents a political party and he must learn to fake his intentions if he has to be there where his party has allowed him to reach. All Political parties in some way or the other are most hipocritic and try to lure voters by creating such furore over one issue or the other for sheer publicity. But we must ask ourselves that Do we really like our Kings and Queens living their lives like Mango People? I bet, No! Because, we are conditioned in a way to worship Godess Laksmi although only a few of us have highs for the highest austere Lord Shiva. But could we deny that we worship lord Shiva not for his austerity but for the Yogic powers we believe he posseses? Finally 'Power' that counts! and The Mango People are the craziest people fantasizing for it. They will sure excuse our dear politicians and soon do Narebaji in their favor and vote for them also. Aren't we as an Aam Janta, more hipocritic?

Since he has apologized and it was mistake made by him in frustration ,he should be excused, but if he repeats it again,he is liable to be banged.

I think this was a sheer frustration that made Mr. Tharoor comment in such a manner and it was not directed to anybody, eventhough they have the habit of flying in business class it is sad that he made such a comment and it was a mere answer to a query from one of the journalists on Twitter and he replied back in the same manner, may be the media is blowing this a bit too much, and this austerity drive is making life a bit tad difficult for our politicians.
