Moreover, the long waiting lists and unavailability of adopting in their own country can be the reason of international adoption. For instance, the Indian government intends to increase the number of children available to overseas families and place thousands more in homes in Europe and the United States. Such adoption usually drags on for more than a year but New Delhi's proposals call for a maximum wait of 45 days. Campaigners welcomed the news yesterday. "This is fantastic as far as it goes," said Stevan Whitehead of Oasis, a group which supports those wanting to adopt from abroad. The process must be accelerated so homes can be found for the babies before they become institutionalised. International adoption agencies offer hope that a child will be adopted within 2 years, which is a short period of time compared to domestic adoptions for a healthy infant.

Another reason, why children should be adopted is that the couple may have tried unsuccessfully for many years to have their own child, without success. Some of these could have medical reasons for not falling pregnant, while others may not have fertile sperm. When a couple applies to adopt a child, they have to go through a lengthy process to be successful. Their screened as to their income, medical backgrounds, age, as well as both wanting this. Sometimes couples may apply although one just goes along with it to keep their partner happy. Many people look to adopt overseas, agreeing to bring a newborn in from a less wealthy country.

So, let me continue this debate. I am actually Miss not Mr. Every child needs a family. It is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the importance of how children feel when they do not have family. And it does not matter from which nationality child is. George Eliot has a very good quote "Life began with waking up and loving my mother's face." Now I am studying abroad and I cannot describe my feelings how it is difficult to me when I get up and cannot see my mother’s smile on her face and cannot kiss on her cheek. I have experienced these unforgettable feelings and I want every child to face with mother-love. This not to say that fathers have no place, for father-love, with its driving for self-improvement and discipline, is also essential to survival, but that uncorrected father-love, father-love as it were practiced by both parents, is a way to annihilation. There should be provided love and attention to each child. If child will be grown with love, in the future he/she will be a good person.

Dear cons, the topic that I chose is about the international adoption not only in Tajikistan. I wrote that at first I want to introduce orphans from Tajikistan. At the second part I wanted to introduce other countries such as India. But the main point is: Should we adopt children overseas or not? It is not only about the Tajikistan or India. It is about the children that suffer. Supporting No you say children should not be adopted.

As for me
couples should adopt children overseas. There are a lot of countries that
really need a helping hand. And adoption is one of the ways to help them. At
first I would like to talk about Tajikistan. After a Tajik Civil War had taken
place in 1992, 50.000
people dead, 700.000 displaced, 25.000 women widowed, and 55.000 children orphaned.
Due to the fact that many citizens of this country suffer from poverty they
cannot adopt orphans. So why not adopt children from abroad if you have all opportunities.

Dear Taha, with all due respect I would like to express that this debate is worthless, in our own country, we find thousands of children plaguing with poverty, malnourishment. Kids can be seen begging on street. So, when our own children are in plight, no point in extending helping hand overseas. "Jinke khud ke aashiyane phoote hue hain, wo kiya ki c ka ghar basayenge, jinke khud ke chaman ujde hain wo kiya phool khilayenge" With regards. Rajiv
