There is so much media In the country that people are spoilt for choice, with so many forms of media that is there to choose, and the recent news is out that Media houses are going for Cross-media ownership, where they will be having  their own Print media, Televsion, Internet services, Radio channels like Big media houses trying on every media forms that is available....So what do you think, Should cross-media ownership be allowed?? what are your views on this....

Yes it should be allowed  i agree with amit here, forget everything else, just look at the employment oppurtunities that it brings through with it and the more revenues that it gives, and it is good that more FDI inflow is there in the country, because they know that India is the country which is growing like anything, and one more reason that More FDI is for India because China which is also doing really good, but it has stricter regulations, so many western countries are not interested in China and everybody are India bound right now, I think this will completely change how is India is perceived all over the world....

So cross media  ownership should be allowed...

Yes it should be allowed, idon't agree with kavita on this, justlook at the times of india, which is the largest english daily in the country, which is having times now news channel, 8888 mobile service provider, FM radio channels, and ZOOM tv which changed entirely the entertainment industry in the Television format, it is doing very good in cross media...They are doing good in every format......

According to me it should not be allowed, because it creates a sort of monoploy, the same thing happened in US before, but now they are cancelling the cross-media ownership after realizing the after affects of its sensitivities..Just because India has no laws on Media ownership, There is so much FDI that is flowing into the country, Where it will create monopoly and this will be bad for the growth of the Media in a constructive manner and the standards will be reduced due to cross media ownership, let them concentrate on one thing which they are good at.........
