Should India do more Nuclear tests??

There is a lot of discussions currently happening on Nuclear tests in India. The US nuclear pundits feel the Indian establishment of political, scientific people may be lining up to conduct more nuclear tests to validate and improve the country’s arsenal before the Obama administration shuts the door on all nuclear explosions.

The Indian motivations are largely from the technology validation standpoint, but then US has long believed that geo-political objectives rather than scientific or technical metrics drives India's nuclear weapons quest. The argument has gotten another boost following the remarks by a key Indian scientist, K.Santhanam, questioning the potency of India’s thermonuclear bomb.

The recent Nuclear test news is gaining momentum largely due to growing American pressure on India to sign various nuclear containment treaties and perhaps enable India to conduct one last series of tests to validate and improve its nuclear arsenal.

Now Americans are coming to conclusions what other country needs to do... I think they are pressurising India to sign the treaty to stop all the nuclear activity and it's not just scientific point but it is also politically driven motto from the americans just to make sure every other country stops nuclear activity and let them alone do all those things, first they should stop many testings that they have done which hasn't come to the public notice, I think it would do good if we have some Nuclear tests as we are very vulneralble to attacks from our neighbouring countries and we should first protect ourself from then so it is better to have last series of tests to be done before we sign on the dotted line.
