Should India too learn a lesson from US?

US killed Osama instead of catching him alive and then taking him for trials.. But in India we prefer to catch people like Kasab and listen to them. Spend lot f money on them. Should we learn a  lesson from Us and follow that instead of our traditional "Be good to every bad" approach?

I have said this beacuse I think that way. We should not be so good to people who have done so much of bad.. We are way to lenient..

Could we do what US did in the case of Osama! Secret Covert Operation, undermining Sovereignty of a country! Had we done this to nail the masterminds of Mumbai terror, would they have endorsed it! It would have led to third-world war! Instead of directly addressing the issue, we are dong "cricket diplomacy" taking the support of US!

This is the problem with India which has been suffering by default on account of leniency towards wrong doers. We know one is a terrorist who should be killed immediately and then only others will afraid.Our leniency is misused by them. Thanks Mr.Tina for the referral.

India should learn a lesson from US. But don't you think that US has played a prominent role in helping Terrorism to spread? They might have helped the other terrorism affected countries to eradicate it. They are doing all this for their own good. When coming to our side, we have been too lenient from our part because our belief in peace has backfired us every time raising the terrorist's confidence level to repeat such crimes again and again. It would be better on the part of our government to take stern action this time so that even the terrorist's soul gets terrified on the thought of spreading terrorism.

Yes Tina, India should learn from the other countries how to deal with terrorism not only from US but from Russia & Israel which encounter these problems like we do. But i still have doubts about Osama being caught, killed & then being buried in Sea...

India would never learn any lessen from anybody as the entire bureaucracy and the entire clan of politicians are totally corrupt. It may not be surprising if we later learn that Kasab would have even bribed some of them to keep him alive at the cost of we common citizens who pay the highest tax in the world.When middle class person does not even earn much enough to make both ends meet, our country is spending more than 40 crores to keep this KILLER TERRORIST alive for more than 2 years now.

Yes Tina, we must handle Terror related crimes very firmly & should not play vote bank politics & lenient while dealing with terror related crimes. Politicians or political party, which support such cause should be dealt with severe punishment.

It will take years and years for INDIA to be in the same positon as USA is today. USA is a world power from long long time. They have such a strong impact on so many countries including INDIA. What INDIA can learn from this is to follow your enemy till he caught or Dead. preferably DEAD!

India could not what US did.We must understand Us is supreme power in earth.They can say or act what they like.I remember US said they will again and again violate air traffic rule in Pakistan if needed inspite of strong protest from Pakistan.India cant do like that.

i do not think that we should do what U.S. did for the single reason that the people of Pakistan still love India and Indians. We should not harm this faith of the people of Pakistan. After all we are neighbors and should respect each other and should find ways and means to live in peace.

26 people agree with it ?????? Have you guys lost it ? Do you know Nuclear policy?? They can use nuclear weapon towards India even if India tries to stangle pakistan ECONOMICALLY. USA is safe because pakistani missles cannot reach USA, if that wasnt the case even USA could not enter pakistan but that isn't the case with India. Any surgical strike could turn into Nuclear war. Remember those fanatic that carry out blasts have the Nuclear button under their finger.

Only option India has is limited & quick surgical strike (refer to COLD start articale of Indian armed forcs) where we could strike a target in Pakistan and get out within minutes.
