first of all its hard to understand how universities like this even exist, secondly i think however hard we try to eliminate them there will always be others...so its a vicious cycle. the trend should be to educate people who aren't aware of such forbidden educational standards which have no value and spread the word/bad publicity about such collages. Just to comment on the "BUT THEY ARE PROVIDING EDUCATION" if people choose such institutions that have no academic value, its like watering a garden of rocks and expecting a bed of roses.

Without any further discussions all the fake educational institutes, if any, to be banned on urgent basis. No body should have guts to play with the aspirant students.

Ravali , First of all I cud not understand wat du u mean by fake colleges? If they r fake then must be banned , where is the need to support them? It, s really hard for a student who completes his degree frm such a clg n after compltn he comes to know dat it was a fake clg . All his labour and money goes waste. It is like playing with life.

We have to improve the standard of our education. A fake degree can be bought form the fake people. This cannot help for your life. We have to improve our education to the world standard. Hence we don't have to spend lot of foreign currency for our resources.

In todays context when education is not enough to get you through cut throat competition, it is a betrayal if a student is promised quality education but not provided during the course. Just assume that my father had mortgaged all his assets, with just one hope that i will get quality education and will be able to help him in his old age, and i get only education but not the quality education; which of no use when it comes to secure a job, what i will do in that situation? It is always important for everyone to make sure that one delivers as per his own commitment, if a college can not provide quality education then it has no right the claim it just for making money. Making false commitments for earning money is a crime it it should punished heavily.

This is not a subject for debate but for action. We should report such institutions to the government and force it to take action .The onus lies on the public as ultimately it is they who suffer. Dr.Mahendra Gaur,Director, Foreign Policy Research Centre, New Delhi

Fake colleges should first be identified based on the defined criteria for fake colleges. Subsequently, they should be asked to meet the university standards of accreditation and their courses should be accredited. If they fail to follow these norms within a stipulated period of time, then they will be on course to being banned and their courses/degrees will not have any value. Additionally, if they are identified as fake colleges, then till their courses are accredited or till they meet the accreditation criteria, the courses already being offered by them will not be recognized. Further, if they fail to meet the accreditation criteria, then their courses will again not be recognized.....

We don't want to get literate. What we need is the education and overall development, weather we get it at any training institute or fake / unregistered college. In my opinion there should not be any registration for the colleges and universities. However, there should be a body keeping an eye on the working and hygiene of the colleges.
