Injectable contraceptives have several side effects in women on long term use. This includes irregular bleeding, prolonged period of amenorrhoea after long term use, and loss of calcium from bones, making them suseptable to fractures.

Injectables may be used if people can not or do not like to use the other available contracptive methods. Side effects are with every artificial thing you use quantam and verity may differ.
