Should IPL 2009 be shifted because of elections will spread the security cover thin?

The attacks in Pakistan have made the worst nightmares in cricket world come true. Even MSD says cricketers are easy targets. With IPL Schedule conflicting with election schedule, how can security agency provide the desired security?

What has happened in Pakistan is an eye opener for the cricketing world and it is obvious that IPL will not easily attract players from the other cricketing nation. One has to remember the recent Mumbai attack which will also have an effect. It is left to be seen what will be the outcome regardless of how good security system India has in place. Election is also another factor that will be considered regardless if IPL 2009 is shifted. It is sad for the future of international cricket.

Security concerns if not addressed can lead to isolation of Indian subcontinent. Just think if a terror attack is made during games and terrorists don't miss like they have done in Pakistan.
