Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday sought to reach out to the Pakistan government by saying that it was the desire of India and the people of Pakistan to live in peace. Addressing a mammoth gathering in Anantnag before flagging off a train service between south and north of Jammu and Kashmir, he, however, underlined that Pakistan needed to curb terrorism directed at India.

But why he is forgetting all the betrayals Pakistan has done with India? Our ex-prime minister Mr.Atal Bihari Vajpayee went till Lahore to bring peace between these two nations but what did we get in return? Kargil War ? Pakistan has never kept the promises (Everybody knows that).

On the top of that now Pakistan has claimed that
India is funding Taliban to create unrest in Pakistan, in spite of the fact that ISI has been helping Taliban to be prepared against India.

With all these things, dear friends, do you still think Manmohan singh should go for peace talks with Pakistan?

A war will drag us back to many years from progress. So the peace process must continue.

Any initiative on the part of Indian Prime Minister can expose the nefarious activities of Pakistani Rulers, showing that India is always ready to extend hand of friendship but Pakistani Rulers believe only in enmity with India despite the people of Pakistan also want to live in peace.

I agree with Ipshita. No pint in talking to Pakistan till we force them to change the ground realities of terrorist camps...

Pakistan has never kept their promises to India. 6 wars and violating the promises of Lahore peace talks are the greatest proofs. Everybody knows that Pakistan has been threatening Taliban prisoners to attack India. After all these things Pakistan is blaming India of funding Taliban. Pakistan do not deserve to hold a peace talk with India.
