I mean 76 people were killed, and no higher officials were brave enough to enter the area till Maoists left the area, and sent our CRPF jawans against 1000's of Maoists to fight, they were brave to fight and keep them at bay for more than 3 hours but they were clearly out numbered, but in between these, the not for good politicians were sitting in their AC offices and were giving press interviews, and also where there is no proper food and living conditions to these Jawans how do you expect them to fight, and with all this the end result was 76 brave Jawans sacrificing their lives.

The Maoists menace is increasing day by day, there are reports that there are many training camps in Bengal where clearly they are using army kind of strategies to counter attack.. And what sort of action till now we have seen, no army being used to tackle maoists and no air assistance, this is a pathetic situation, its like throwing someone into a well and then checking how deep it is........this is not at all fair..what is our Home minister doing, he has no right in going and sympathising the survivors, that is not his job, he should take some stern action, and form several months the Maoists are becoming more and more active, but P.Chidambaram has failed to understand this, and with growing dominance of Maoists and Naxals, surely India is heading towards becoming a failed state..

So, what do you think people Should P. Chidambaram resign after Dantewada massacre?

P. Chidambaram has no right to stay as a Home minister anymore. He could not make any solution to Maoist problem. Rather, he still is saying Police force is enough to deal with Maoists and is denying to take help of Army. Police force were sent to an unknown jungle without any reinforcement and much knowledge leading to such a big massacre. Not only that, he is just giving reasons even after all these things. I don't think such a man should stay in a position of Home minister any more.

I dont understand the logic behind demanding resignation after resignation. And wht will happen after the person resigns? He will be replaced by another and then what. The circle goes on. PC, in todays politics is the most intelligent, most knowledgeable, most trusting and the most deservable minister. And if the intelligent public of India does not have faith in the able ministers obviously the country will be ruled by goons, if tht is wht people want. And btw PC understands the proximity of the situation and i recently read that actually he had resigned but our PM did not accept it. Thank god for that. I feel the general public beleives those politicians who dramatise the situation other than who really feel for the masses. Anyway what i m asking here is how exactly should the situation be handled. Its a war out there. And any thinking politician will not divulge the intricate details that will create misunderstandings. Certain things need to be kept from the general masses, only those in services can understand this.

Resignation on moral grounds is allright. But after many years, India has got a efficient Home Minister. Home Minister that produces results. If we loose him, there is no other eligible candidate, in any of the party. So, enough of this morality stuff. Moral background is ok for opposition stuff, till it suits them.

A well planned Emotional drama .... coward work. n u r supporting... If he wants to pay tribute to the CRPF personal then he would have ordered an ARMY operation rather than setting up an inquiry.

The question is not about whether HM submitting resignation or not, but ultimately where the buck stops?

Record people got killed in a single ambush; they all are fighting without modern weapons & accessories, no medicines & without any logistic support & are gone to counter the biggest homeland security threat......

Someone has to answer,,,& why the most intelligent & deserving minister should keep a mum,,,,he has to clarify,,,he has to produce results,,,at least now,,,the biggest para-military force of the planet can not be massacred like this,,,the nation wants answers...the nation wants to know whether the IPS lobby is a protectionist, saving colleagues, sitting in AC offices, sending their force who are supposed to be human beings, to counter insurgency with such pathetic resources & piteous planning?

With whom the onus lies?

He should take the moral responsibility for this . As he is the minister of home affairs .I dont understand why he is always taking a very lenient approach towards maoists

He must resign , but i don't think he will resign , he is not concerned about the casualty   ,this kind of person was ok for  finance  ministry    ,   Government has all kind of resources  , they can use aerial monitoring for  naxal areas , and then they can attack  them , what kind of politics is this.

This Maoist insurgency is unlike any other previous insurgencies in India. The Maoists are having an upper hand by simply exploiting the grievances of the people who are not getting anything from the prevailing system. To correct this problem we need to understand the Maoist kind of thinking and style of warfare. Simply a resignation by an official won't solve the problem.

Read the Book Only the Paranoid Survives by Andy Grooves and ask a question is quitting the Solution for every question. If Home Minister resigns now an easy way for him to get out of the situation and put another man incharge who is not aware of the situation properly. Rather thinking on Resignation HM Sir be relaxed and calm, plan a new strategy as you are well aware of the situation than any other as you were monitoring the Maoist and Naxalist situation very closely. The mission you begun will face trouble as Maoist and Naxalist only knows to kill and not to live. India spends almost 30 per cent of its Finances on Defence, plan a new internal security, get the confidence of other Parties in the country because this the time to get everyone together and work out a new strategy rather blaming yourself for the situation and quitting. Give the Killers a real answer, be strong and face it.

Its true that we can't restrain our emotion seeing our Jwans brutelly killed by those terrorist termed with honour "Maoist"! It is also more painful to experience the utter silence from those leaders who clamour on any issues and engineer to throw out any good attempt by Tata or whoever else.

At this critical hour, we must support PC to fight back till elemination of Red Rebels and debate on such issues would not be appreciated especially when the level of integrity and commitment of PC have been found 100% true.

So, friends, do join us to support the move of PC
