Should Shahrukh apologise to Shiv sena to restore normalcy in Mumbai?

India is not a property of one man ...what shah rukh said was not something which should be discussed or be apologetic of he has his view and is patriotism shldnt be question on that .. Shiv sena just want to play dirty politics and nothing .. something which they have doing from the last two decades but i think people has come to age of now they what they really mean. It is battle of supremacy and who rules Mumbai and this time they got the answer that whether it is Mumbai, Delhi or Kolkatta or  any place .. It is Rule by just one .....The Indians

I do not understand your logic. What is wrong in admiring a person.Is it mentioned anywhere that you should not admire your enemy. Come on yaar don't take a prejudiced view. Try and learn to be more open minded and accomodative.

If shahrukh apolozise for what he said , this will be something very disgraceful. India or common people r not bound to what sive sena whats. The statement that SRK made is what the mayrids of people think . the difference is SRK is a celebrity n everyone listen to him when he says. Who care what we people think. At least i believe SRK represented a majority of indain people opinion. The issue had not ended here , shiv sena will have problem with all the people who had a huge fan followers. Dont mix your cheap politics with art, culture, sports, literature etc. These have no bundaries. Sivasena should be dissolved. They are only trying to devide this country by their cheap gimics. Thakeray's think Maharastra is their personal property and they can get away with whatever they say and do. They should appologise to this Nation first for trying to devide this country on issues like Language. Who the hell is he to order us or Sharukh. Does he know if people other than Maharastrians move out and boycot Maharastra what will happen? It is the outsiders to a large extent who earn for Maharastra and not the Marathi People. Local people think they can live by goondaism. Let them learn how to live harmoniously with others. I think all outsiders should dismantle all their business and Industrial establishments in Maharastra to teach them a lesson. If thackerys dont appologise to others and dissolve their narrow mainded outfit. Outsiders should start breaking the legs of every Marathi who in the name of pride of Maharastra tries to devide the country and loots people. All these people are threst to the Nation. They dont have any plan or agenda for economic development. They want to grab power by goondaism and talking about marathi pride. I like marathi culture, songs and literature not Thackery culture. I hope real Marathi people will come out and teach this people a lesson and trying to devide this country playing with cheap gimics. Let Thaackeray's first teach shivasainiks how to do hard labour and earn money for their living, and then talk about Marathi Pride. To day they are earning by looting innocent people and goondaism.

Let us for one minute think like this, who is SRK? And who is SS? First and foremost they are both Indians and a part of India.

But looking it from a different angle, what have they done?What is their contribution to Indian or us Indians?

SRK at one side is a living legend, he is a name known not only in Indian homes but abroad also,some one who has made us proud time and again.

Where is SS is a DOOBTA HUA SURAJ kind of thing.

Know coming back to the topic, what did SRK do? He just put forward his views, some amongst us felt good about it, while some took offence, and a few were neutral even.

Some people thought that this is the best time to make every one remember that even we are in the rat race, so ban his movie, throw stones at him and at his house, hares his children and family.

But did the so-called protectors of India think for even a minute that what are they achieving by all this, who are they really harming in this way?

Did they think about the common man, whose bread and butter depends on the very fact that the Movie should release?

To put up one’s opinion is not a crime, not according to the constitution we follow, SRK has done the very same thing.

Why does SS forget that even they have different opinions right from MARATHI MANUS, MARATHI SPEEKING TAXI DRIVERS, GO BIHARI AND UP WALAS?

There has not been any democracy in India. There was only peron worship Practice and people accepts what ever that person imposes and beleive that is democracy. You can say there is democracy only when every person becomes capable of understanding, analysing what is good or bad for him as well as for the community and willing to accept what is good for the comunity and community interest is above all interest and wants to live peacefully within a community comprising of equals and strives for bringing equity among people. We have been living in this country where we worship people and errect their idols in every road crosses, name the streets after him and build monuments for them. If Thakarys surives in their fight to rule by hook or crook they only will be Ramas or Krishna's of the future and if they fail they will be called Ravanas. We beleive that all thats is written in our scripture are right and dont want to question those writings. When the population density was very low women were treated as assets of the society and their role was that of child production factory and cook for the husband and children. They were worshipped only because without them there wont be chioldren. But to day the need of the hour is to reduce population density because it is becomning imposible to feed people since the productivity of the earth is reching the brim and all our misery to day is because there are more people than opportunites available. If thakary can get away with what ever he does then why not give him in the same coin. Do what ever you feel right to teach him a lesson and if the legal system comes in the way then disobey legal system it self. After all there cannot be one legal sytem for thakay and a different legal system for you. tell the judge the same. The current legal system is created by people like thakary for protecting them not us.

Here question is not about only Shahrukh Khan, but the real question is can Raj thakeray or any other person is above the Law and Order. Today only thakeray is saying, what if tomorrow other person of different state ask about there own state or try to subpress some one feelings, when our constitution have provided us some fundamental rights, constitutional rights of every Indian. If some one breach any law and order or do or say any thing which is against public policies, then there are laws to check the wrong. How can any person pass any order against other.

To me, there was practically NO issue between the two. Bal Thackery (read Shiv Sena) is going through an ebb in politics and SRK needed a decent platform to promote MNIK. What better platform than IPL III for furthering their individual wishes. As MNIK was finally released (even if they claim partially), IPL III matches would finally be conducted in Mumbai with no objection from Shiv Sena - Pakistani & Australia players or not.

When NO issue, NO aplogies. And, was Mumbai really disturbed in wake of the BAN called by an ouitfit of Marathi Manoos???

Shahrukh should not apologize. Any person can support his older enemy if there is some enemy in his own house. To show his angerness to Shiv Sena he supported Pakistani player's not Pakistan.

Shiv Sena should be apologize to all Indian citizens as they've heartened all Indian's sentiments. He has no right to divide India and do politics. Shiv Sena and MNS are doing what British did 400 years back "DIVIDE AND RULE".

It seems like you are a shiv sena supporter and hence trying to find fault with shahrukh's upright stand which any true indian should take. Moreover what is bothering you if he is dabbling in too many things. He is capable of multitasking and hence he is doing it. If you are competent enough to do the same then do it. See! We have a debate going on here whether he should apologize to Shivsena or someone else. 17 people have different view than 15 people here on toostep who think SRK should apologize. It reflects 15+17 different thinking style. So whats the fuss if he has some different view or thinking about seeing pakistani from different angle. The matter became worse as he is a KHAN. otherwise Shivsena didnt ask for apology from Mr. Chidambaram for saying the same thing on IPL. Even after this started, Mr. Sharad Pavar went to request Mr. Balasaheb Thakre to allow Australian & Pakistani players in IPL,  that too at his home in Mumbai. Then Why Shivsena didn't seek apology from Mr. Sharad Pavar too?  Has he done something anti national by saying just few lines?? What about Javed Miandad visit to Matoshri some years back??

Love of Bal thackeray for Mumbai is something which is beyond me and would be grateful if someone else can explain. Where was he when terror attacks hit Hotel Taj, Nariman Point etc. Was there no risk for Marathi's that day. Is he the dictator. He is acting like anti social element only by stopping the release of any work of art; be it MY NAME IS KHAN. India is a secular state and Mumbai is integral part of it. Then how can you be communal. Business people who run theaters may not show movie because they do not want anti social elements cause loss to them, it is business motive that may stop them not Mr. Thackeray's ideology.

No why should he? He has not committed any sin. If you yield to such outfits goondaism and pressure tactics in future no one will haeve the guts oppose this kind of people. There is nothing wrong in the absence of a consensus or Government order in inviting Pakistanies to play here and expressing our views in favour. Sports and art should be free from all these politics and should not have any boundaries. Lets learn to preach and practice Universal Brotherhood.

Whatever SRK said, was not opposing to anyone, it is a true sportsman spirit, anyone who has talent can play in the IPL, why keep Pakistani players away from tht, they have rights to play. SRK has freedom to say whatevr he likes, its a democratic country, he can say anything tht doesnt provoke sentiments. Regarding ShivSena & MNS, its a sheer shame that we are obstructing development of our own countrymen, what have you to do if SRK's film relases? had this film been in Marathi, they would have fought the world to release it. India is fighting terrorism from taliban/pakistan/china, etc, etc but the real terror lies amidst us, its internal. A body can fight to external terrors but can get destroyed in an instant if an internal feud starts up. Look at the immensly great work done by TOI-Aman ki Asha, they are fighting their lives out to re-unite these countries and ensemble peace, these communal discripencies are ruining their hearty efforts. I personally dislike SRK but I will stand for him on this matter as he is absolutely right, no question of APOLOGY, to shiv sena or MNS. Go watch MNIK, fight terrorism, fight regional communism.
